Asus ha montado un dispositivo multimedia atractivo con ambiciones de juego llamado N550JK-CN109H. Resulta interesante al llevar una nueva GeForce GTX 850M que ofrece del 35 al 50% más frames que la GT 750M del Asus N550JV. Sendos dispositivos cuestan aproximadamente lo mismo (1000 Euros), pero el último tiene un quad-core Core i7 más potente.
La estilosa carcasa de aluminio con dos tubos de calor y dos ventiladores sólo se ralentiza en batería. Tanto CPU como GPU ofrecen puntuaciones muy buenas y consistentes estando enchufados. Aunque la elegante carcasa sigue teniendo una tapa flexible, el área de trabajo de aluminio, el genial sonido con subwoofer externo, la pantalla mate IPS, y el rígido chasis lo compensan.
Nos habituamos rápidamente al teclado, pero no al ClickPad. Su caída es corta y el esfuerzo necesario para hacer click demasiado alto, y pronto dejamos de hacer click en el pad. La falta de gestos multitáctiles también contribuyó a eso; el driver no ofrece opción alguna salvo para el desplazamiento a dos dedos. Aparte de esta "deficiencia", el único defecto serio del N550JK es su elevado consumo de energía en inactivo.
Los compradores que estén buscando un potente y estiloso dispositivo con mucho aguante estarán en buenas manos con el Samsung 870Z5G. Además de un potente procesador de 47W, también tiene una muy buena pantalla IPS FHD.
El Dells Inspiron 15-7537 también ofrece mejor duración además de una pantalla muy buena. Los forofos del rendimiento, empero, no quedarán satisfechos con el chip ULV. A cambio, el veloz SSD compensa ese defecto en el rendimiento de aplicación.
