La tarjeta gráfica Turing más barata de Nvidia sigue llamándose GeForce GTX 1650, pero la GeForce GTX 1650 Super es ahora otro modelo económico de nivel básico. Los mayores cambios respecto a la versión no Super de la GTX 1650 están en el chip gráfico instalado y la VRAM. Ya conocemos el chip gráfico de laGeForce GTX 1660o la GeForce GTX 1660 Tiaunque el número de sombreadores es un poco menor en la GeForce GTX 1650 Super, con 1.280. En cuanto a la VRAM, ahora también está disponible la más rápida GDDR6, pero sigue teniendo sólo 4 GB. No obstante, la GeForce GTX 1650 Super no tiene problemas para superar a la GeForce GTX 1650 en términos de rendimiento.
Gracias a su tamaño compacto, la tarjeta gráfica es adecuada para cajas pequeñas. El consumo de energía está especificado en 100 vatios, lo que cierra la brecha entre la GeForce GTX 1650 y la GeForce GTX 1660. El modelo KFA2 que hemos probado tiene un conector de alimentación de 6 pines interno y ofrece un puerto DVI-D, un DisplayPort 1.4 y un HDMI 2.0b externo. La garantía del fabricante es de dos años con el KFA2.
Die Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Super für Desktops ist eine Einstiegs-Gaming-Grafikkarte basierend auf der Turing Architektur. Der TU116 getaufte Chip und wurde im November 2019 vorgestellt. Die GTX 1650 Serie bietet im Unterschied zu den stärkeren RTX 2000er Karten (z.B. RTX 2060) keine Raytracing und Tensor Kerne. Die Leistung ist etwas besser als bei der GeForce GTX 1650 und Vergleichbar mit der AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT.
Bei der Turing Architektur gab es auch auf der Ebene der CUDA-Kerne deutliche Verbesserungen. Float und INT Operationen können nun gleichzeitig ausgeführt werden, der Cache wurde vereinheitlicht und verbessert und Adaptive Shading eingeführt. Nvidia spricht dadurch von einer bis zu 50% höheren Leistung pro Kern im Vergleich zu Pascal.
Von den Vorteilen des TU116 Chips profitiert die neue Einsteigerkarte, denn die neuere NVENC Videokodierung liefert im Vergleich zu Pascal mehr Performance.
Nvidia spezifiziert einen Stromverbrauch von 100 Watt TGP (Total Graphics Power) für die Grafikkarte. Der TU11 Chip wird bei TSMC im 12nm FFN Verfahren gefertigt.

Una plataforma AMD actual basada en el Asus X570 ROG Crosshair VIII Hero Wi-Fi sirve como sistema de prueba. La CPU (AMD Ryzen 9 5900X) ofrece un buen rendimiento de la CPU, y utilizamos un AIO(Alphacool Eisbaer Aurora 360 mm) para la refrigeración. La memoria RAM de 32 GB es de Corsair y funciona a 4.000 MHz. Utilizamos el Acer Predator XB321HK como monitor. No nos limita debido a su capacidad UHD. Como ya se puede adivinar, nuestra KFA2 GeForce GTX 1650 Super se sitúa con una clara ventaja sobre la GeForce GTX 1650. Sin embargo, sigue existiendo una respetable diferencia con laGTX 1660 sigue siendo. Al mismo tiempo, también utilizamos una AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT para comparar, ya que forma parte de la misma clase de rendimiento. La GTX 1650 Superno consigue superar a su homóloga de AMD en la mayoría de los benchmarks. No obstante, queda por ver si el resultado mostrado aquí se traslada también a las pruebas de juegos

En nuestros benchmarks de juegos, la KFA2 GeForce GTX 1650 Super lo hace bien, y con unas pocas excepciones, la tarjeta gráfica domina casi todos los juegos en 1080p y detalles máximos. Sin embargo, nuestra muestra de prueba tiene que admitir la derrota frente a la AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT. La ganancia de rendimiento en comparación con una GeForce GTX 1650 es claramente perceptible, pero también varía de un juego a otro.
Usamos The Witcher 3 conel preajuste Ultra para las tasas de fotogramas y los tiempos de fotogramas. Aquí se nota que los FPS no se pueden mantener constantes. Si te decides a comprar una GeForce GTX 1650 Super, probablemente te fijes sobre todo en el consumo de energía de la tarjeta gráfica. El modelo es bastante eficiente con 100 vatios, a pesar de que el modelo no Super sólo requiere 75 vatios. Esto también se refleja en nuestros resultados de medición. Nuestro sistema de pruebas sólo necesita 87 vatios en uso inactivo. En la prueba de estrés, este valor aumenta a 229 vatios, que es, sin embargo, significativamente menor comparado con el sistema de prueba con la AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT.
El consumo de energía mientras se juega es incluso un poco más alto, con 241 vatios, pero aún puede clasificarse como bajo en comparación. En contraste con la GeForce GTX 1650, el consumo de energía es casi 40 vatios más alto. No obstante, la KFA2 GeForce GTX 1650 Super es una tarjeta gráfica de bajo consumo para sistemas pequeños. No hay motivo de preocupación en cuanto a las temperaturas, ya que nuestra muestra de prueba sólo alcanzó los 70 °C (~158 °F) en la prueba de estrés. La Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Super es una tarjeta gráfica de bajo consumo adecuada para el PC del salón de casa. Con el chip gráfico TU116, la GTX 1650 Super ofrece las ventajas de la serie GTX 1660 en cuanto a la codificación de vídeo NVENC. En cuanto al precio, esta tarjeta gráfica es actualmente muy difícil de clasificar, ya que la problemática disponibilidad de las tarjetas gráficas ha llegado ahora también a los modelos de entrada, e incluso aquí, ya podemos ver precios significativamente crecientes. Por ejemplo, se pueden encontrar precios a partir de 160 euros (~192 dólares) en el mercado de segunda mano.
En términos de rendimiento puro, la GeForce GTX 1650 Super se sitúa directamente detrás de una GeForce GTX 1660. La VRAM de 4 GB es un poco justa si buscas algo a largo plazo. Sin embargo, por el momento, muchos juegos se pueden jugar sin problemas en 1080p incluso con esta tarjeta gráfica sin tener que sacrificar detalles. Sólo unos pocos juegos requieren una reducción de detalles para conseguir una velocidad de fotogramas fluida.
Si buscas una tarjeta gráfica pequeña pero potente, actualmente no hay forma de evitar la GeForce GTX 1650 Super.
Objetivamente hablando, la KFA2 GeForce GTX 1650 Super es una tarjeta gráfica sólida para el nivel de entrada. Sin embargo, el sistema de refrigeración integrado merece algunas críticas. Se agradecería un modo de parada del ventilador para el uso en 2D, y un menor nivel de ruido en las aplicaciones 3D haría la tarjeta gráfica más atractiva.
