When it comes to budget smartphones, Infinix’s Note series always comes to mind, and the Note 11S continues that tradition. As the year draws to a close, Infinix has launched a new budget-friendly smartphone that is sure to turn some heads. Infinix Note 11S is a handset with a starting price of Rs 12,999 and appears to have what it takes to entice potential buyers on paper. The sheer number of improvements it brings to the game should put all the other big brands to shame. While the Note 11S’ main camera has some colour accuracy flaws, it has enough good features to make it a smart pick for budget-conscious customers. Let’s talk about whether this device is as good as we think.

The Achilles heel of the Infinix Note 11S is its photography prowess, while the software does need improvement as well. Despite these, I think it’s a compelling phone for its price, offering the right performance metrics, good looks and a large high refresh rate display albeit with slightly sub-par brightness levels. The stereo speakers amplify the viewing experience as well. Worth a second look for these reasons, I’d say. Of course, the competition is never really that far out. The Moto G51 (review) is a recent launch that offers a full stock Android experience with better cameras but costs slightly more while the Redmi Note 10 (review) is still my go-to device for the best camera and display below Rs 15,000. However, it is undeniable that Infinix’s position in the budget segment has been solidified with the Note 11S.

Our review of the Infinix Note 11S shows that the brand’s newest budget phablet brings the goods in the Philippines, especially with its under-Php 10k price tag. The large 6.95-inch display gets upgraded with a 120hz refresh rate, and its use of a Helio G96 processor makes the Note 11S one of the best phones to get if you are talking about pure price-to-performance. We don’t mind it having two cameras that are mere stat stuffers, as its 50-megapixel main camera does the job pretty well.

The Infinxi Note 11s is a true mid-range affordable phone that was released in November and the expected price is $199 (Rs 14,999) approx. In terms of the phone specs, you are getting a pretty standard 6.95-inches IPS LCD panel that is also accompanied by a 120Hz advanced refresh rate, while the pixel density further boosts the viewing experience. Although, you won’t notice any gorilla glass protect coating here. But, you will receive the XOS 10 custom UI layering that will bring tons of customization features on your hand with an Android 11 OS on top. The hardware featured the 12nm – Mediatek Helio G96 chipset and graphic process through the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU unit. Besides that, you can purchase the Infinix Note 11s in more than five RAM and storage variants. The camera setup introduces a triple camera, including the 50MP primary, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth. With this, you can easily record up to 1440p videos, while the 16MP selfie camera also provides a diverse range of features.
