Intel Core 2 Duo T9400

Intel T9400

La Intel Core 2 Duo T9400 fue una CPU para portatiles de clase media alta en el momento de su presentación. Es similar a la Core 2 Duo P9500 excepto por el mayor TDP de 35 contra 25 vatios.

Debido a la relativamente alta velocidad de reloj y a 6MB de cache de nivel 2, la T9400 ofrece rendimiento suficiente para la mayoria de los juegos (en 2009) y aplicaciones.

La T9400 usa un nucleo Penryn (actualizacion Montevina) que presenta 2 unidades de enteros, 1 de coma flotante, 1 de carga y una de almacenamiento en un largo pipeline de 14 estados de largo. Debido a la tecnología Wide Dynamic Execution, el nucleo es capaz de ejcutar de forma simultanea hasta cuatro instrucciones.

La tecnología Intel Speedstep mejorada es capaz de reducir la velocidad del nucleo de forma dinámica para ahorrar energia (en modo reposo).
