Intel T9550

El Intel Core 2 Duo T9550 fue una CPU de doble nucleo para portatiles de gama media en el momento de su lanzamiento. Es similar al Core 2 Duo P9600 excepto por el mayor TDP de 35 contra 25 vatios.

Debido la relativamente alta velocidad de reloj y a 6 MB de cache de nivel 2, el T9550 ofrece rendimiento suficiente para juegos exigentes (en 2009) y aplicaciones.

La T9550 usa un nucleo Penryn (Actualización Montevina) que presenta 2 unidades de enteros, 1 de coma flotante, 1 de carga y 1 unidad de almacenamiento en un pipeline de 14 estados de longitud. Gracias a la tecnologia Wide Dynamic Execution, el nucleo es capaz de ejecutar de forma simultanea hasta cuatro instrucciones.

La tecnología Speedstep Mejorada es capaz de ralentizar el nucleo de forma dinámica para ahorrar energia (en modo reposo).
