Análisis para el Oppo Reno6 Pro 5G
Origen: Tuexperto

The Reno6 Pro 5G is the top model in Oppo’s Reno6 range, featuring a Snapdragon 870 chipset, 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Images can be viewed and composed using a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution. The front camera couples a 32 MP sensor with a 26mm (equivalent) f/2.4 aperture lens. For video, the Reno6 Pro’s front camera shoots either 1080p or 720p resolution at 30 frames per second. With a DXOMARK Selfie score of 85, the Oppo Reno6 Pro 5G drops into the second half of the Premium segment ($600-$799) front-camera ranking. The device achieves the same score as the Xiaomi Mi 11 and is only a few points behind the Xiaomi Mi 11T Pro on 91. This is respectable, but a slightly underwhelming result, that leaves the Reno6 Pro several points behind the segment leaders Asus ZenFone 7 Pro and Apple iPhone 13 mini.

While the Reno6 Pro 5G doesn’t excel either at playback or at recording, it manages to remain fairly functional. Oppo’s Pro model in its latest mid-range phone series can make a decent gaming companion and a sufficient device for filming selfie videos or recording meetings and memos.

In my opinion, the OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G is a very good smartphone (this back panel is just so slick) with good ergonomics and almost flagship specs. It has a great AMOLED screen, really good cameras, a fast processor and 12 GB of RAM. Another advantage is impressive battery life, fast charging (the device charges up to 100% in 35 minutes) and a convenient fingerprint scanner located in the screen. You can also pay attention to the OnePlus 9. The smartphone has a 120 Hz screen, Snapdragon 888, decent cameras developed in collaboration with Hasselblad, and Warp Charge 65T fast charging. To compete in the market, the OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G needs to be several tens of dollars cheaper. Although, undoubtedly, it has his own charm and considerable advantages. To be honest, I really liked this Ice model with rounded edges of the screen and excellent cameras. I would even trade my iPhone for it. And this rarely happens!

Oppo Reno 6 5G is a great smartphone with a design that makes it stand out from the crowd of other mid-range devices. It offers high performance and ensures smooth operation in all applications, the interface offers a lot of options to customize the phone to your liking, and the battery not only provides good working times, but can be recharged in as little as half an hour. You can complain about some shortcomings - there is no headphone jack or support for microSD cards, cameras could be better, there is no stereo speakers or wireless charging. The last thing is the price - 499 euros is a lot considering what the competition offers. The middle shelf is very crowded and very competitive. Manufacturers use a similar specification, so ultimately the fight for buyers' wallets is based on the right price. Chinese producers can really aggressively price their flagship products, but clearly Oppo is not one of them. And although the smartphone itself is recommendable, it is better to wait until it is cheaper. Because with what it offers, cheaper alternatives can be found.

For all of its high-end aspirations, the Reno6 Pro 5G misses the mark in a few key areas. We're the most bummed about the lack of dust and water protection, and the 90Hz refresh rate is out of place at this price. The camera system has its imperfections, and while the 2MP macro camera is really unfixable, low-light photography could probably be tweaked in software. Daylight photos are really good, as are videos, and selfies are one resize away from greatness. The Snapdragon 870 once again proves unscathed by long-term loads, and the ability to actually run games at high frame rates is appreciated too. Meanwhile, the fast charging complements the good battery life nicely. In the end, it's a tougher decision than usual. Out of the things that the Reno6 Pro 5G does well, none does it do exceptionally well. Meanwhile, the cons list isn't filled with dealbreakers either, except maybe the IP rating. Ultimately, it's a good phone and a well-balanced package, but not quite worth its current list price.

The Oppo Reno6 Pro 5G appeared on the European market in September 2021. It fits in our Premium ($600-799) segment and accordingly comes packed with all kinds of attractive features. Let’s take a look at some of its key battery test results. One of its only drawbacks is its lack of wireless charging, which many other smartphones in this segment offer. Overall, though, the Oppo Reno6 Pro 5G is a well-balanced device, with excellent power optimization as well as excellent charging time.

For a phone that costs almost RM3,000, the Reno6 Pro is the bare minimum of flagships as it does offer impressive specs, just not enough to best the top ones in the category. But then again, it is more affordable so it all goes down to whether you want to spend a few hundred ringgit more to get a premium flagship, or save the cash and get the Reno6 Pro with all the specs and features that you know is good, but can be better.

The OPPO Reno6 Pro is the brand’s top tier device in the Reno6 Series and it definitely feels premium. It’s not exactly the most powerful device around but it’s not far off either. I did enjoy using the device but for the price of RM2,999, it’s kind of hard to justify. If only it came with a lower price tag alongside the bundle deals that they’ve prepared. I was mainly not that happy with the camera but it could be due to software issues which might be fixed later. If you wish to go for an affordable option, you could instead opt for the OPPO Reno6 Z if you don’t care too much about the chipset, higher refresh rate, and charger to name a few. For that, I give the OPPO Reno6 Pro our Bronze Pokdeward.

A premium-looking phone with a powerful hardware on board, that's the Reno6 Pro 5G. A nice paint job to go along with too. However, as it's usually the case with Oppo mid-range devices, it's a bit on the expensive side - perhaps too much for its own good. The Reno6 Pro 5G has a tough competition to match in India with the Poco F3 GT, the Realme X7 Max 5G and even the OnePlus Nord 2 are offering better value for money. Additionally, Oppo's odd decision to bring only the 12GB/256GB storage variant to the market puts it in an exceptionally tough spot. The entry barrier is higher this way. In fact, the Reno6 Pro 5G may very well be the most expensive Dimensity 1200-powered phone right now. And that's a bit hard to sell.

Let’s talk about the price. At RM2,999, this is definitely a premium smartphone and for that price – you need to know that this phone does not have HDMI output over Type-C, among some other things. that said, this is still a rather good phone.

The Oppo Reno 6 Pro 5G is a camera oriented phone, and it does the job well, in most scenarios and comparably better than other devices with the same hardware specifications in the midrange segment. The Oppo Reno 6 Pro 5G is priced higher than similarly specced competitors like the Xiaomi Mi 11X 5G and the Realme X7 Max 5G, but the advantage here is clearly the camera and the new video features that were better than both these competitors, in our testing. At ₹39,990, the Oppo Reno 6 Pro 5G feels a little overpriced, when the Mi 11X Pro is available at the same price, equipped with the top-of-the-line Snapdragon 888 chipset. However, if you’re looking for a well-designed smartphone that is good for day-to-day photography and offers unique video features, decent performance, optimised software, fast charging and good battery life then the Oppo Reno 6 Pro 5G is worth considering at this price point.

The conclusion is pretty clear, coming in a high-budget segment the Oppo Reno 6 Pro smartphone proves to be worth considering. The Reno 6 Pro does just about everything a smartphone lover wants. Whether you look at the design, the screen, or the processor, it will give decent performance. Even the cameras are properly installed, except for the optical zoom camera. Also, if you look closely and compare the Reno 6 Pro phone with another flagship phone, you will see the big difference with the chipset. If you want a high-quality Qualcomm Snapdragon phone on that budget, this isn’t your phone. Therefore, in terms of faster performance, you should look for alternatives like the One Plus 9R smartphone which offers stiff competition over others. The Oppo Reno 6 Pro model would have been better if there had been a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset and a slightly higher battery.

At Rs 39,990/- with a Dimenity 1200 SoC, Reno6 Pro 5G is ultimately a bit expensive although it follows a progressive price tag than its predecessor. If you already have a Reno5 Pro 5G, I won’t suggest upgrading because there’s only the slightest change between the two.

The OPPO Reno6 Pro 5G is a complete package but not without caveats. While some of its limitations look significant on paper but do not hamper the user experience in real life scenarios – such as the screen's 90Hz refresh rate – there are many others that one simply cannot ignore. This is especially true when compared with the Realme X7 Max. For example, the smartphone lacks stereo speakers, ingress protection rating, 3.5mm audio out port, etc. That said, the OPPO Reno6 Pro 5G is an expensive smartphone, worthy only if you care about the OPPO’s camera-centric innovations. Otherwise, the Realme X7 Max is a solid deal and costs significantly less.

So, should you buy the Oppo Reno 6 Pro 5G? Well, the answer to that isn’t very difficult. If solid performance, above par camera capabilities and a gorgeous design are what you’re looking for from your next phone, then Oppo’s new mid-range flagship is definitely the device for you. It does more than enough in these departments and manages to stand out as a viable option in the segment. However, its price is a little on the higher side for the hardware it offers, and as such, is the only real gripe one could have with the device.

All of which makes the Oppo Reno 6 Pro 5G a great option for anyone looking for a phone that combines smarts and substance. The phone is a head-turner and is generally a smooth performer. Its price of Rs 39,990 might seem a bit on the higher side, but if you factor in the fact that it comes with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage at that price point, the Reno 6 Pro 5G becomes a very good option for anyone wanting to turn on the style without compromising on the performance front. There are also the two Snapdragon 870 contenders, the Vivo X60 and the OnePlus 9R. It is quite a line-up, and yet the Reno 6 Pro does not get overwhelmed by it. Yes, spec hunters and geeks might not get too attracted to it, but most mainstream users just want a phone that looks premium and performs well. And the Reno 6 Pro does both remarkably well.

The Oppo Reno 6 Pro kicks up the design language with a beautifully designed phone that feels incredible to use. The amped-up Dimensity 1200 should easily keep up with general performance demands, while the battery handily lasts a day and a half. Unfortunately, camera optimization isn't quite as good and the secondary cameras disappoint. Ultimately, the Oppo Reno 6 Pro isn't a very well-rounded package, but might be worth considering for fashion-conscious buyers.

The OPPO Reno 6 Pro has been launched in India for a price of ₹39,990 (~$536) which is more expensive than the ₹35,990 price tag of its predecessor. You get a more powerful SoC, more RAM, and storage while the rest of the package remains largely similar. There are certainly other options in this price category that provide better value, but the Reno 6 Pro doesn’t compete with the likes of Xiaomi, Realme, or iQOO. OPPO as a brand is more prevalent in offline markets and emphasizes things like design, display, and a premium experience. Considering those factors, the OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G might be a good option for you to consider if it checks the right boxes on your priority list. If you’re looking for the best performance and the most value in your smartphone, you need to assess your other options. While the OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G does those things well, the combination of features it offers is valued more by average users in the offline market than spec enthusiasts in the online market.

The Reno 6 Pro combines an iridescent gradient pattern with powerful hardware. The 90Hz AMOLED panel is wonderful in daily use, you get the same level of performance as flagship phones, and the 64MP lens takes standout photos. The software needs work — OPPO's update schedule is glacial — but the biggest issue is pricing; there are far too many alternatives at this price point that give you more for your money.

The OPPO Reno6 Pro 5G is undoubtedly a compelling handset and the device will surely ruffle feathers in the mid-range segment. For its price, the Reno6 Pro 5G brings a treasure trove of interesting features but the smartphone doesn’t quite get the value proposition right. You see, buyers interested in the phone can instead pick up the Realme X7 Max 5G which ships with very similar specs, albeit costs significantly less. Similarly, those not in a rush can also wait for the upcoming OnePlus Nord 2, which per the teasers, also employs MediaTek’s Dimensity 1200 chipset. Lest I forget, there is no shortage of Snapdragon 870/888 phones in the market which not only offer better performance but cost the same or less. At the end of the day, buyers looking for a stylish, camera-centric phone will find plenty to like about the Reno6 Pro 5G. On the other hand, those seeking the most bang for their buck should look elsewhere.

So if you are using a Reno 5 Pro model, upgrading to this doesn’t make sense. For others, however, the Reno 6 Pro 5G offers a powerful processor, a premium-design and lasting battery life. The display and camera experience are also quite satisfactory. The Oppo Reno 6 Pro 5G is one of the many smartphones that are lined up to to come powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. The Oppo Reno 6 Pro follows very closely in the footsteps of its predecessor – a little too close for my liking. Since the time we reviewed the Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G in early January, the mid-range smartphone segment in India has seen some major trend shifts, and some of the feature omissions in the Reno 5 Pro are now even more glaring in the new model, especially since the Reno 6 Pro costs Rs. 39,990. Things like stereo speakers, stabilised 4K video recording, and perhaps even an IP rating would have really strengthened the Reno 6 Pro's position. The Oppo Reno 6 Pro is one of the slimmest and lightest phones in its class, and has the looks to go with that. It's not perfect, and there are features that are still annoyingly missing, but they don't take away from the fact that it's a powerful smartphone with good battery life and decent cameras for still photography. If only Oppo had priced it better to make it more competitive.

Oppo never ceases to amaze with the kind of designs its Reno phones come with. The Reno 6 Pro 5G is a beautiful phone, and there is no denying that it will entice customers more than the specifications. The specifications of the Reno 6 Pro are not bad, but because we have seen similar specifications, even better, on cheaper phones, the onus of recommending the right phone at the right price makes me take a break and look at the competition. Even if OnePlus Nord 2 does not, Poco F3 GT definitely will, but their launch will take some more days. If you cannot wait, you have the Realme X7 Max 5G that is powered by the Dimensity 1200 processor, has a high-refresh-rate display and has even stereo speakers that you do not find on the Reno 6 Pro 5G. Sure, the design on the Realme phones is a bit dicey, and not everyone will like it, but performance is on par.
