If you want a stylish and fast phone with a more than decent battery that doesn't break the bank. Apart from the camera and some of the MIUI problems, there isn't much wrong with this phone. And what issues there are could certainly be fixed via future software updates, even if I would never hold my breath for these kinds of promises. That leaves you with a phone that holds its own next to more expensive devices, like the OnePlus Nord, Pixel 4a 5G, and Samsung Galaxy S20 FE. If you're in the US, you should be sure to check if the phone will work on your carrier first, though. You also need to keep in mind that it doesn't support 5G, so if you pay for access to the new network, you might want to look elsewhere.

So, should you buy the Mi 11 Lite? It simply depends on how much you value that slim and light form factor. If you do not, then this is perhaps not the phone for you. There are better specced and equally good looking phones out there at this price point and even for lesser. The Mi 11 Lite is perfect for those who want a phone that works and which literally is not a weight on their hands and pockets, and are willing to pay a premium for it. It is an exceptionally designed phone that is perfect for everyday use. And that is surely worth something – Xiaomi deserves credit for having the nerve (chutzpah?) to release such a device in a spec-driven age.

Xiaomi’s Mi 11 series is awesome in many ways, however, be it vanilla or the Pro variant, both are expensive. However, Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite is a budget-friendly mid-range device that offers a few pros including battery life, high refresh rate, 10-bit OLED panel, stereo speaker setup, and overall sturdy build. On the other hand, getting a slightly better performance chipset would have made a lot of difference. Also, there are a bunch of Xiaomi devices that are pretty much better than Mi 11 Lite.

You don't judge a book by its cover. Similarly, you should not judge the Mi 11 Lite purely based on its specs. This is a phone that you must hold in your hand before you form an opinion about it. If you just want an Android phone that's not too expensive but still stands out from a sea of other monolith glass slabs out there, the Mi 11 Lite will be an ideal choice for you. The Mi 11 Lite is ideal for someone who values in-hand feel and experience more than the overall specs. The 4G variant of the Mi 11 Lite definitely won't please power users. For them, Xiaomi does offer the Mi 11 Lite 5G, with a more powerful Snapdragon 780G chipset. The additional horsepower does come with a higher price tag as well, though. Depending on where you live, Xiaomi's own Redmi Note 10 series will be an excellent alternative for the Mi 11 Lite if you don't care much about the in-hand feel and the weight of your phone.

So the question here is whether should you get it or skip it? For Rs. 21,999, the Mi 11 Lite is quite a good phone to get, but it’s not made for those looking out for a phone with the best hardware. Xiaomi’s own Mi 10i offers more competent hardware, while the OnePlus Nord CE and iQoo Z3 are quite ahead in the league. Instead, it’s a phone for those who are bored of heavy and beefy smartphones and wants to try out something new. So, if you’re someone who’s looking for a slim and trim phone without much compromise, then you both are a pair made in heaven. Among the crowd of big and beefy smartphones, Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite comes as a breeze of fresh air with a minimalistic yet fulfilling approach. It does trim down on the weight and thickness, but most importantly, it gets the basics right.

While there is no doubting the slimness and lightness of Mi 11 Lite, it does get trumped in the spec department by many. In a price segment that is driven totally by specs, Xiaomi has tried to make some space for a stylish device with the Mi 11 Lite. Will the gambit work?

The Mi 11 Lite has impressed us with its super-slim compact and lightweight design (157g) and with its 10-bit colorful AMOLED display that shines out loud. Both these aspects of the smartphone are unrivaled in this segment. Aside from these, you get stunning daylight photos and macro shots from its cameras as well as reliable fast charging and dual stereo speakers. All of these make the Mi 11 Lite a solid package to buy. A few things that we would miss on this phone are its water-proof rating, 5G support, and storage options. For those who are looking for 5G capability on this phone, you can wait for its 5G variant to launch once the 5G services are available in India.

The Mi 11 Lite is a brave attempt from Xiaomi to enter a category it hasn’t flirted with in the past. It is a bold and beautiful smartphone with a unique identity and if successful, can be a trend setter for other smartphone makers. Mi 11 Lite may not have the best hardware but, packs everything you may actually need. The design, form fact, in-hand feel, display and cameras are all excellent. The processor and battery leave you asking for more, especially because of the current standards. Anyone in the market, can definitely check out the Poco X3 Pro, iQOO Z3, OnePlus Nord CE 5G and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max.

On first impressions, despite its standing as the lowliest member of the Mi 11 family, the Mi 11 Lite 'wows' with its wafer-thin form. Dig a little deeper and you realise it's also imbued with a stunning display, capable internals and a feature-packed user experience. If design isn't at the top of your list of priorities in a new phone, your money will likely go further elsewhere (although you're still likely to find something suitable within the Xiaomi catalogue), however, the Mi 11 Lite delivers a pleasingly well-rounded experience for the price, complete with a few unique touches.

There’s a lot to like about the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite, even if you end up with the non-5G variant. From an ultra-slim design to some pretty impressive cameras, you definitely won’t be disappointed. But be prepared for the adjustment to using MIUI 12.5 if you live in the West.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite has an official price of PHP 14,990 which sure is more affordable than the other smartphones in the Mi 11 series. As a mid-range device on its own, it’s pretty straightforward and ready for your day-to-day casual use. Of course, you don’t get much of the flagship features, but it still stands out with its utterly slim design, a good set of cameras, and vibrant AMOLED display. It’s a very good phone to consider in its price range, although there are other Xiaomi mid-rangers that have tad bit better specs compared to it.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite stands out. From the moment you lay eyes on it to the time you start playing with themes and customizing to photos and overall performance, we suspect you’d be happy with the device. It's more sleek than it needs to be, handles day-to-day tasks without problem, and captures surprisingly good images. This unlocked 4G phone should be more than enough to satisfy the masses.

Our review of the Mi 11 Lite 4G in the Philippines shows that despite being in a rather awkward spot—with its price being close to the top-end variant of the Redmi Note 10 Pro—the most affordable Mi 11 variant has its own strengths to make it stand out from its siblings. Aside from having a skinny body and being insanely light, the Mi 11 Lite is better than the Redmi Note 10 Pro with its better display, more efficient battery life, and better overall camera performance.

The Mi 11 Lite turned out to be a good alternative to the Mi 11 flagship if you are on a limited budget. The Lite model keeps many of the Mi 11's key features, of course, with a different interpretation. There is an HRR OLED screen, capable hardware with dependable battery life, loud stereo speakers, the camera is good for the class. Overall, the Mi 11 Lite is what a proper Lite version should be all about.

And that’s it. It’s priced at RM1,199 and it’s a fine phone on its own. Not gonna lie, the Mi 11 Lite is a rather boring phone. Since it is priced as such, it sits in between and sandwiched by both new POCO phones. At the end of the day, you have to make your own choice on which smartphone to get, depending on what you want from a phone.
