Hay que entender que estamos ante el sustituto del best seller de la marca, el POCO F3, así que en este caso la marca china no ha querido defraudar para seguir una linea continuista, aunque con algunas mejoras importantes en la fotografía como la incorporación por primera vez de OIS en uno de sus móviles. Y como hemos dicho en reiteradas ocasiones, estamos ante una gran compra para un smartphone hilado de forma fina para que no se le escape ningún aspecto importante. Su sensor de huellas lateral, su panel AMOLED, su tasa de refresco de 120 Hz para la mayor fluidez en animaciones y juegos, una cámara principal que se comporta bien, carga ultrarrápida de 67W y un rendimiento a nivel general que cumple todas las expectativas. Otro detalle que no queremos dejar escapar es que en la caja se incluye el cargador de 67 W, así que no hay que hacer un desembolso extra como sí ocurre ya con otras marcas. En definitiva, un móvil que recomendamos a un precio de 399,99 euros en su variante de 6 + 128 GB para tener en mano un señor smartphone al que se le puede pasar por cualquier tipo de rodillo;

And yet, the F4 is the smoothest phone we've ever reviewed long-term that's powered by the Snapdragon 870, and in 90 to 95% of the time it doesn't feel lesser than a flagship. Only when you go nuts with gaming or multitasking, or when the Google Play Store is installing or updating apps, will you notice that the SoC inside isn't top shelf anymore, even though it used to be. Hopefully this review has drawn a comprehensive enough image of what the F4 is like to use in late 2022 so that you can make an educated decision on whether to buy it or not. It's not perfect, but it's better than any mid-ranger, and close to a flagship killer while cheaper. That's a hard combo to pull off, and yet it does.

The conclusion of the Xiaomi Poco F4 smartphone there is only a few times when we come across decent mid-range phones. The Xiaomi Poco F4 falls in that sweet spot as it provides more attractive and necessary features compared to the price point. The phone got an immersive display, beautiful camera quality, a heavily customized interface, good stereo speaker output, 5G connectivity, and not to forget ample performance with a stable user experience. All of those factors make this phone a well-rounded deal for every user who is looking for a powerful phone. But at the same time, if we look at the flaws, there are a few such as it has a useless macro lens. Apart from this, the phone is an outstanding offer in 2022. But if you want more power under the hood, then we would suggest you check out the Xiaomi Redmi K50 Ultra for a better gaming performance experience.

As I said earlier in the review, the POCO F4 is an interesting device in the POCO lineup for this year. It is basically the same device as the POCO F3 with a few changes. The exterior of the phone is inspired by the Redmi Note 11 Pro series. The only new thing on the exterior is the rear triple camera module and I must say its design is quite uninspiring. The display, battery, speakers, and processor are unchanged from last year. You do get a beefier 67W charging brick which improves the charging times quite a bit. There are a few changes in the camera department, some good and some bad. Let’s start with the good – the main camera is now 64MP with OIS and produces great overall results. The selfie camera is also slightly improved even though it is still 20MP. The macro camera gets a downgrade to 2MP and is basically just there so POCO can claim a triple camera setup. The 8MP ultrawide camera is the same as last year. POCO F4 does check all the boxes for a great smartphone. The price is also quite good at around €350 for the base version.

Poco F4 5G comes with a starting price tag of Rs 27,999. The smartphone is powered by a quite powerful chipset and it packs a bright and beautiful display. The mid-range smartphone does pack a reasonably good camera and the fast charging support also works in its favour. If you are into casual gaming and also like a smartphone that works smoothly, then you can definitely consider this one.

The Poco F4 follows up on the F3’s legacy by being a great mid-range all-rounder. It’s benefits from a level of water resistance, has an impressive AMOLED display, speedy charging and (despite no upgrade) impressive performance that’s more than adequate, even if you want to play some games. The cameras aren’t the best you’ll find for the price, and – as mentioned – it’s pretty hard to justify the price hike when there’s very little difference in the new phone. It might still be a solid mid-ranger, but you’d be better off buying the F3 for less than spending extra on the F4.

All told, this is an extremely impressive follow-up to an already excellent phone. We don’t see the kind of leaps in performance or battery life that I would have liked but the addition of Dolby Vision, the upgraded 64MP main camera and the lightning-quick 67W fast charger more than make up for these deficiencies. Add to this the inclusion of 5G connectivity and the slick 120Hz AMOLED display, as well as some outstanding gaming performance, and the Xiaomi Poco F4 is an absolute bargain at this price.

The Poco F4 is another fine phone from Xiaomi’s value-oriented sub-brand, but its all-round competence is tempered by a sense of familiarity. Its big, bright display and strong performance are noteworthy strengths, but both elements are literally unchanged from the Poco F3 before it. The same can be said for the phone’s stamina and clunky MIUI software. The F4’s camera is slightly better than before with the key addition of OIS, but it still isn’t up to Pixel 6a or OnePlus Nord 2T’s standards. Similarly, the phone’s 67W charging is an improvement on its predecessor, but still not the fastest in the category. All of which would be of little consequence if the Poco F4 hadn’t received a £50 price bump. It’s an easy recommendation for its all-round competence, but at the same time, you’d perhaps be better served shopping around for a cheap Poco F3 deal.

The Poco F4 5G is a well-designed smartphone that looks and feels premium. It offers very good gaming performance, above-average battery life, quick charging, and a very nice display that supports Dolby Vision HDR playback. The IP53 rating also is a nice bonus. This phone offers better value than the Xiaomi Mi 11X (Review), which is essentially the same device but with slower charging. The 12GB RAM version is worth going for if you can find it selling for less than Rs. 30,000, however at Rs. 33,999, you'd be better off with the Nothing Phone 1 (Review). If you're looking for good camera performance, phones such as the Realme 9 Pro+ (Review) and OnePlus Nord 2T (Review) would be better options. The recently launched Oppo Reno 8 (Review) should also be a good camera smartphone since it's similar to the Nord 2T, however we'll reserve our final verdict on that till we finish reviewing it.

In most measurable ways, very little has changed from the Poco F3. In fact, it's virtually the same hardware - except that it's been put in a new body. Still, for the price this phone is being sold at, it's very unlikely you'll find anything that's as fast and has as good a display. It's still exceptionally good value for money.

The Poco F4 looks and sounds like a decent mid-range phone that has a pinch of premium performance added to the formula. The Snapdragon 870 definitely gets the job done without much complaining, and the new 64MP OIS camera delivers good quality photos when the conditions are right. With a price tag that starts at €399/$399, it definitely sounds like a good deal. Unfortunately, the phone doesn't exist in isolation, and its biggest rival is its own predecessor. In the grand scheme of things, the Poco F4 doesn't represent a big jump from the Poco F3. The only notable upgrades are the 64MP main camera with OIS, the 67W wired charging, and Dolby Vision. In all other aspects, the Poco F4 is nearly identical or, in some areas, even worse. If you have a Poco F3, it might not make sense to upgrade. If you're aiming to buy a new Poco phone regardless, the Poco F3 might still offer the best bang for the buck — not unless you really want that new camera, that is. In the end, it really boils down to compromises, and Poco definitely made a lot of them to balance things out.

The Xiaomi Poco F4 smartphone comes with 5G connectivity at an expected price of $349 (Rs 27,000 in India) approx. As for the current information, let’s talk about the primary specs. The phone offers a tall aspect 6.67-inches AMOLED display that renders a high 120Hz refresh rate, 900-1300 nits brightness, and 395-pixel density. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and IP53, dust and splash resistant. In terms of performance, the phone offers the 7nm – Qualcomm SM8250-AC Snapdragon 870 5G chipset sufficient for a mild gaming experience. The software end brings the Android 12 with MIUI 13 custom layering. In terms of camera setup, the makers introduce a triple camera setup that includes a 64MP primary lens with OIS support, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro lens that can record 4K video. Alongside this, the phone offers a 20MP selfie camera on the front. You also get a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security. For the battery section, you will get a Li-Po 4500 mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.

By its own merits, the Poco F4 is a pretty good release for £379/€399. The Snapdragon 870 still delivers plenty of performance, 67W charging is brisk enough to make charging feel like less of a chore, and the FHD+ 120Hz OLED screen makes for a pleasant viewing experience. When judging the Poco F4 in the context of its predecessor, it’s clear the company did a decent job of fixing the previous phone’s flaws. But it seems like a double-edged sword in some ways. Sure, 67W charging is a lovely addition, but battery life isn’t the very best in its price tier. Yes, we’ve got an improved main camera, but the rest of the sensors are an afterthought. Poco polished the software experience out of the box this time, but system ads still sully the experience. In terms of alternatives, the Poco F3 (£329) is probably the most logical rival right now if you like what you see and can live with the caveats. It lacks 67W charging and OIS, but you’re still getting the same powerful chipset, the same battery capacity, a similarly good screen, and a sharper macro lens.

Despite using the same processor and being more expensive than the POCO F3 at launch, the F4 is still a very competitive phone for its asking price in the Philippines. The Snapdragon 870 it uses is a tried-and-tested processor for top-notch performance at the under Php 25k segment, and the addition of OIS in the main camera makes the POCO F4 a good option for those who are into serious content creation.

If you’re looking for a new Android phone and your budget is under $500, then I’d say go for it. The Poco F4 is clearly better than the Galaxy A53, which runs on a weaker processor, with significantly slower software and inferior haptics, and about similar display and main camera quality. You also get a charger and a case with the Poco F4, which matters to those on a budget. But before pulling the trigger on the purchase, remember that the Poco F3 still exists. I guess when Xiaomi says it wants to offer “innovation for everyone,” it literally meant releasing a phone at every price range down at the hundred dollar mark. There’s a $300 Xiaomi phone, a $400 device, a $500 device, a $600 device, and so on. The Poco F4 is the best $400 phone, but Xiaomi’s $300 and $500 phones are also here vying for your attention too.

The Poco F4 is a good phone. Like Poco says: "everything you need." The problem with this phone, however, is formidable competition. It all comes down to what your priorities are. You give some and you take some. Say, for example, if you value a clean Android experience, the Motorola Edge 30 and OnePlus Nord 2T are slightly better options. If you value camera performance more than everything else, there is the Vivo V23 for you. And if performance and great battery life are your priorities, then I wholly recommend the Poco F4 5G. Even otherwise, it is a good all-rounder. If you do end up getting it under Rs 30,000, it will not disappoint you. It is just that it plays in a space where similarly good phones, with their own pros and cons, exist.

The POCO F4 5G has a starting price of Rs 27,999, and it has all the features you’d want for that price and more. As far as budget smartphones go, it’s blazing fast. Its performance and efficiency are second to none, and its internals is nothing short of impressive. There is also a 67W charger included, so you never have to worry about running out of juice. The main camera is the only positive aspect of the triple setup, and it makes up for the mediocre wide-angle lens and awful macro lens. All in all, the phone has a fantastic screen, a lightning-fast processor, and a respectable primary camera. The Poco F4 5G is an excellent option for those who do not wish to spend a great deal but still want a high-quality smartphone.

The Poco F4 5G is a very different phone compared to the original Poco F1, and I have noted this in my first impression as well. This is no longer attempting to be the killer of a ‘flagship killer’ aka the OnePlus, which is now a flagship itself. Interestingly, the closest OnePlus competitor here would be the OnePlus Nord 2 5G given the price range, though Poco is ‘more affordable’. Other competition includes the iQoo Neo 6, which is powered by the same processor as well. There’s also Samsung’s Galaxy M53, the Realme 9 Pro+ and Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge, which are all in a similar price range and with varying specifications. So yes, the list of ‘alternatives’ is long. The Poco F4 5G is a ‘value-for-money’ proposition with good performance and camera as the key standout points. Sure, there’s no 120W fast-charging or 108MP camera, but this does the job without any the addition of most of those fancy additions. Get the Poco F4 5G if you want a device with a solid performance with premium looks.

The Poco F4 aced most of our tests - it offers an outstanding display, likable splash-resistant design, good stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, dependable camera experience, good battery life with fast charging, and above all - excellent performance with great stability. There is little not to like within the Poco F4. Maybe it could have retained the 5MP telemacro camera. Or offered IP67-rated design like the Galaxy A series. But at that attractive pricing, especially in 2022, we'd say we are getting not only more than the average, but more than we even expected. And that's why it gets our recommendation right away!

The POCO F4 starts at Rs 27,999 and for the price, checks all the right boxes. In fact, after factoring in the host of offers, the F4 can be copped for as little as Rs 23,999, which is baffling, to say the least. To summarise, the handset touts a stunning display, a stupendously fast processor and a capable main camera. It also helps that the device charges rapidly and offers a feature-laden custom skin. Understandably, the smartphone offers similar specs to the recently launched iQOO Neo 6 (review) which begs the question – is the POCO F4 a better buy? Well, the answer to that is not as black and white as I’d like it to be. You see, the iQOO Neo 6 has a lot going for it and the handset features faster 80W wired charging. That said, I liked the images snapped by the F4’s primary sensor more. Furthermore, POCO’s offering allows users to leverage Dolby Vision HDR in OTT services like Netflix too. And, you’ll find more customisation options with the F4’s MIUI interface as well. Suffice it to say, it’s hard to pinpoint a clear winner here but, if I were in your shoes, I’d pick the POCO F4 in a heartbeat.

Finally, we come to software. The Poco F4 5G runs MIUI 13, based on Android 12. The interface is colourful and feature-rich, and so far I haven't noticed any notification spam from the preinstalled apps. Poco hasn't yet committed to any long-term software updates for the F4 5G, which is a little disappointing. The Poco F4 5G has all the makings of a successful mid-range smartphone. It has the brute power of a very capable SoC and a laundry list of impressive features, all packaged in a premium body. While Poco has done a commendable job with this phone, we shouldn't forget the F4 5G's not-so-distant cousin which most likely inspired its creation, the Mi 11X (Review) from Xiaomi. Launched in April 2021, the Mi 11X offers nearly the same set of features and specifications at a similar price. We also have the newly launched iQoo Neo 6 (Review) as a strong competitor to the F4 5G, and the upcoming OnePlus Nord 2T is also rumoured to launch in the same price segment. I can name the Poco F4 5G as one of those mid-range smartphones which offers a decent overall experience with minimum complaints. If you want a strong performance-oriented smartphone to handle your gaming sessions well, and offer the goodies such as a 120Hz AMOLED display, decent camera performance, and fast charging, then Poco F4 5G is for you, especially with its starting price of Rs. 27,999. That said, the reliability issues with the past software experience of Poco should be considered before going with Poco F4 5G. Compared to the competition, the Poco F4 5G gives a tough challenge to the iQOO Neo 6 which offers an 80W charging. If you want a notch better photography experience with decent overall performance and trendy design, then you have Oppo F21 Pro 5G. All things taken into consideration though, it is the Poco F4 that is the easiest to recommend to gamers and non-gamers alike.

The POCO F4 offers a stunning performance for its price, Snapdragon 870 paired with a massive 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM and a fast UFS 3.1 storage which attracts many gamers and performance users out there. The 120 Hz AMOLED display performs seamlessly and fulfills the user’s needs. On top, it has stereo speakers for a better multimedia experience. You also get Dolby Atmos, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, RAM extension, and support for 5G. On the camera’s front, the 64 MP OIS camera clicks impressive shots, thanks to its hardware stabilization. In addition to that, the support for 4k video at 60 fps support and 960 fps super slow motion adds to the overall features of the cameras. You get a bunch of camera perks and a good selfie camera in return, and customizations from the latest MIUI 13 interface. It does offer exceptional fast charging capabilities, the 67W is incredibly fast, to charge 50% battery, it takes about 11 minutes and certainly less than 40 minutes to fully charge. We don’t think a side-mounted fingerprint scanner would matter to you unless you prefer an in-display sensor and are used to it.

Qualcomm Adreno 650:
