Análisis para el Xiaomi Poco X2
Origen: Android Authority EN→ES
The return of the Pocophone has been a long time coming, and the anticipation among the fans is palpable. That said, I can’t help but think that a lot of those fans will be disappointed by what is presented here. The Poco X2 is a good phone that doesn’t really embody the ethos of what made the brand special. It is a perfect mid-ranger that doesn’t stray from the norm or break the mould in any meaningful way. This concludes our Poco X2 review. What are your thoughts on the Poco X2? Do you think it stands out against Xiaomi and Realme’s phones or is it a largely forgettable piece of kit? Let us know in the comments below!

Starting at Rs 15,999 (6GB/64GB), the Poco X2 is not the Poco comeback phone we had been expecting. Nonetheless, it is a fine smartphone in its own right, with a bit of something for everyone. It competes with Xiaomi’s Redmi K20, and other competent smartphones like the Realme X2 (review), in India’s highly crowded affordable midrange smartphone space.

The Poco X2 feels more like a knee-jerk reaction to the competition rather than a product conceived through a thought-out product plan. The 120Hz refresh rate display is something really good to see in this segment, but as of now, there’s not much you can do with it. So buying this smartphone just for that display is moot. Having said that, the Snapdragon 730G at a price of Rs 15,999 is pretty amazing. The performance chops it brings to the table can be harnessed to support just about any game or app right now. The camera setup needs more polish which we hope gets improved with future updates, but it’s really the software and the menace of unsolicited notifications that mars the experience, to the extent that it becomes hard to recommend this phone to our readers. The Poco X2 ticks all the boxes in the spec-sheet, but ultimately fails to deliver a hassle-free experience.

The Poco X2 comes with top of the line specifications for a mid-range smartphone and delivers a power-packed performance on all fronts. The phone needs a little tweaking on the camera software, and apart from that, it doesn’t leave much to complain about. That being said, Poco X2 is not meant for the Poco F1 users but it is a budget-friendly option for those who want premium features in a smartphone.

At a starting price of Rs. 15999 for the 6GB RAM with 64GB version, the POCO X2 is a good mid-range smartphone from POCO. The 120Hz LCD screen with minimal bezels is good, if you don’t care about AMOLED and Always-on-display, good cameras, premium glass body, smooth performance and good battery life with support for fast charging with bundled charger in the box. Some might miss the AMOLED screen, but you have to compromise it for the 120Hz refresh rate.

No doubt the best smartphone that you can buy for under Rs. 20,000 in India, with offers you can get it for around Rs. 14,999. The hard choice would be deciding to buy the Poco F1 or this Poco X2. Well always buy the latest tech, i.e. X2 or better wait for the F2.

Offering high-end specifications at rock-bottom prices is the simplest way to succeed in the Indian market, and Xiaomi has been one of the biggest forces here for years now. The Chinese giant constantly pushes out new models that raise the bar in terms of value, whether the focus is on style, battery life, cameras, specifications, or attention-grabbing features.

The POCO X2 combines a gorgeous design with robust internal hardware and outstanding battery life. The 120Hz display makes interactions more fluid, and the camera takes decent shots in most conditions. There's Android 10 out of the box, and for what it costs, you're getting excellent value.

On the whole, I like the Poco X2 for what it offers, especially at the price Poco sells. Under Rs 20,000, it is easily the best phone you can buy now, beating the Realme X2 in terms of user experience, camera performance and the display. It is certainly not the crazy performance-focused Poco smartphone we have been waiting for (the wait for the Poco F2 continues) but it is certainly a phone you will want to have and if you buy it, you will love it.

Poco has marked its comeback to the market with the Poco X2. It is no budget flagship, unlike the Poco F1, but it still claims to come with a number of high-end features, including a display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and some innovative cameras. Does it do enough to carve a niche for itself in a very tough price segment?
