There’s no contest: the LG V20 is the most feature-packed smartphone of the year. It’s a phablet that mostly nails the basics and adds on a ton of niche features, some of which you might not use all that much.

The V20 is still one of the best phones you can get today. It has great build quality, a great camera, good battery life, and the best audio experience on the market. It might not stand up to some 2017 flagships, but if you can find it for the right price, it's a good choice.

Origen: Tech Magnifier Inglés EN→ES Archive.org version
Finally the question comes whether you should buy LG V20 or not? And the answer is yes. The smartphone is among the best smartphones available in market right now. It offers you great performance, log battery life, amazing camera and excellent sound recording capability which makes it a perfect package. Second display is not so useful, still it doesn’t affect the battery life that much and is a great option to have. There are some minor issues with the smartphone that can be rectified with software updates. As I also received one while reviewing it.

Origen: Tech2.in.com Inglés EN→ES Archive.org version
The V20 is a loaded smartphone, no doubt. But in my opinion LG is late, especially in India. Yes, there are features that catch your attention, but it misses out on being one of the best smartphones of 2016 by a whisker. At Rs 55,000 (best buy price) it is a bit of an expensive deal too. For a bit more you can get the Google Pixel which is the best Android smartphone today. Or you could also go for the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge which is relatively economical but an excellent performer.

Origen: Gadgets Now Inglés EN→ES Archive.org version
LG has tried its best to bring an all rounder smartphone that has a decent display, good processing power, impressive camera, amazing audio recording/playback and an average battery life. But somehow it didn't give us the essence of a flagship or a premium product. For audiophiles, this is the only go-to smartphone right now. However, if you want a handset with good processor, go for OnePlus 3T. For cameras and cleaner Android UI one can check out the Google Pixel smartphones. For the battery, smartphone like Zenfone 3 Max seems a good choice.

Origen: India Today Inglés EN→ES Archive.org version
Despite being impressively built and amazingly stacked with premium hardware, LG V20 is overpriced. It should have been selling for under Rs 50,000. LG right now needs to take on the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, Samsung Note 5 or the iPhone 6S Plus to sell the V20 in good numbers. With a high-price the V20 may not fare well in in the market because it has to compete with likes of Google Pixel and Samsung Galaxy S7, which are great smartphones.

As you've probably realized by now, I've been super happy with the V20. In fact, it's hard to find anything meaningfully wrong with it. If I had to criticize something, it would be the boring design - in comparison with some of the more exciting-looking handsets out there - and the display, which is good, but not great. Recently, I actually booted up my HTC 10 and was reminded of just how beautiful an LCD can look.

Despite generally good white balance, some colorcast irregularities are also noticeable, particularly while subject tracking or during lighting changes, when adaptation can be slow and inconsistent. Color shading is also visible in some videos, with a slight bluish cast when shooting under fluorescent light sources. Video stabilization effectively reduces camera shake for walking movement, but subject motion blur is very visible, as well as a noticeable judder while panning. Some aliasing is also visible in videos, and there’s a noticeable inconsistency in sharpness across the field. Video autofocus is generally accurate, but convergence can be slow when transitioning from macro to infinity, with slight oscillations evident. We observed some video focus irregularities, too, including unstable refocusing as the lighting changes and during tracking, where focus sometimes drops.

It's clear LG is aiming at creative types and those who need their phone to do something more specialised than just make calls, play games and browse the internet and social media — and in the process it provides many features other phones don't have — but unless any of its efforts specifically appeal to you it might be a hard sell.

LG’s V20 it is a bit of a jack of all trades. It’s trying to be a lot of things, and in most cases, it succeeds – just without much finesse. While some phones have one standout feature as their calling card, this one offers not only dual cameras but also the second screen, impact-resistant body, and Android 7.0. High-quality sound recording might not be a much-sought-after feature but it’s a very handy bonus. We think that LG could have done a bit better in the styling department, and its software could use a lot more polish.

At this price point, the LG V20 will be competing against the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and Google Pixel. The LG V20 – Nougat Tastes Delicious!

They always come out with something quirky on their phones: like the G5 – one of the first phones to embrace the modular concept. But LG seems to have grown up with the V20 keeping it simple and classy. The dual camera and dual screen are the stand outs on this beauty. Though saying that, I do find the dual screen a bit unnecessary. It doesn’t serve any discernible purpose other than showing the time while your phone is locked.

It offers an awesome screen (although some might find it a bit big), some of the best photo and video abilities, an imposing processor and an interesting second screen feature. And here’s yet another reason to look into it - it comes with an RRP of R12 000. Truly not bad for what’s on offer.

The LG V20, as a flagship in late 2016, has some stiff competition but it does a good job of holding it’s own against the best of the best, the Pixel XL. The LG V20 is without a doubt one of the best offerings on the market when it comes to focus on the camera and multimedia department. The dual camera setup at the rear, dual FoV front camera, extensive manual controls for video/photo and brilliant audio output are all very unique and something that very few smartphones can boast of. Origen: Engadget Inglés EN→ES Archive.org version
Don't let its dull looks fool you: Beyond the V20's flagship-level power and slightly tweaked version of Android Nougat is a device tailor-made for creatives. The V20 is an excellent media player (even with lossless files) and doubles as an impressive audio recorder. The dual-camera system still needs some work compared to LG's rivals, but at least shooting in manual mode is a pleasure. In the end, the V20 might be a must-buy for audiophiles, but everyone else should consider other options first.

In a nutshell, the LG V20 is a solid, high performance Android device with some standout features, like its tasty HiFi Quad DAC, its second screen, dual wide-angle cameras, and Android 7 Nougat OS. We’re still waiting on firm pricing from LG, however, if we look at what AT&T's typical monthly plans weigh out to, we're looking at an unlocked price of around $829, which is very pricey. Hopefully, there will be some wiggle room there as availability ramps up. Regardless, though the LG V20 is a little understated from a styling perspective, if that’s your thing and you like 'em on the bigger side at 5.7-inches, this LG handset is a competitive, cutting-edge Android option to consider with lots of useful and innovative features.

Unless you hate Apple. In which, case, the V20 it is!

LG V20 review: Inconsistent greatness
Origen: Mobile Syrup Inglés EN→ES Archive.org version
The LG V20 is in many ways an amazing phone. It has everything it needs — premium design, fantastic camera, leading audio quality and even an interesting future-forward always-on display feature. However, even if my experience with the camera bug is set aside, its inconsistent processing performance (including painfully slow boot time) likely mean that this isn’t the device will catapult LG into Samsung and Apple’s realm. Those aren’t gigantic issues by a long shot, but when it comes to operating at the level of those powerhouses, they matter.

LG V20 review
Origen: GSM Arena Inglés EN→ES Archive.org version
Both the front and back cameras of the V20 offer two field-of-view modes and a smooth zoom between them when shooting video. The mics can record anything from a rock concert to F1 race cars engine sound without distortion. Add the quick charging and a replaceable battery and the LG V20 sounds like a dream for vloggers in the field. Especially ones that drop their phone now and then (hooray for shockproofing).

Hands on: LG V20 review
Origen: Techradar Inglés EN→ES Archive.org version
The LG V20 somehow makes having two screens and three cameras look good. In addition, LG has made a number of small improvements and enhancements over the V10 that should make this one to keep an eye on.

Android Nougat, removable battery, refined construction
Origen: Zdnet.com Inglés EN→ES Archive.org version
LG provided dual=screen capability on the LG V10, and it's back on the LG V20. You can also direct reply without leaving the app you are using. As I mentioned recently, many of the features found in Android Nougat have been implemented previously by major manufacturers.

LG V20 Review: Heavy Metal, Without The Compromises
Origen: Forbes Inglés EN→ES Archive.org version
While the main display is virtually the exact same one on the V10, the V20′s second screen is improved quite a bit. It’s significantly brighter and the font bigger, meaning it’s a lot easier to see. But still, if you never cared for the second screen on the V10, the V20 isn’t going to change your mind.

First impressions and thoughts

I know you still have more questions: cameras, performance, battery life, audio quality, comparisons to the Note7 and other devices - but those will have to wait for our full review. This is just a taste of the V20, and I hope to have complete thoughts to share with you in the coming weeks. So far, though, I'm impressed.

First look: The LG V20 keeps the good stuff and improves the rest
Origen: Computerworld.com Inglés EN→ES Archive.org version
At the time of this writing, there was no information about when the phone would make its U.S. appearance or its pricing. Altogether, the LG V20 looks like it could be an excellent phone for video enthusiasts, audiophiles and travelers who would prefer to stick an extra battery in their pocket rather than schlep around a mobile power device.

LG V20 Specs Review: The First Look of Android Nougat Phone with Excellent Multimedia; Shock-Proof Feature
Origen: University Herald Inglés EN→ES Archive.org version
The flagship is powered by removable battery of 3200 mAh, with turbo-charging feature. LG V20 is rich in multimedia features. With stereo sound recording, it can shoot video steadily (2160p@30fps, 1080p@30fps, and 720p@120fps). Not to mention the various filters to spice up the results. This is especially great for videography enthusiasts. It also packs three microphones with noise cancelation feature - allowing high quality, studio-like audio.

LG V20

In terms of hardware, the V20 has everything you'd expect from a top-tier phone. There's a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM, dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth 4.2, and 64GB of internal storage. We didn't get a chance to run benchmark tests on it, but it should fly.

90% LG V20 Review
Origen: Ubergizmo English Inglés EN→ES Archive.org version
The LG V20 enters the market with a particular attention to its positioning. Once again, LG is carefully carving a niche where the LG V20 can sit at the top (large display, sturdy, removable battery). The LG V20 is built to be drop-resistant, has a unique camera experience thanks to 1/ its wide-angle real and front cameras and 2/ its exclusive access to Qualcomm’s digital image stabilization for videos. The V20 could also be enticing for users who are currently willing to carry a secondary Hi-Fi audio device. Finally, it is one of the few desirable phones that have a large, removable battery which is hidden behind a very sturdy metal back cover. The LG V20 is truly a multimedia beast.

LG V20 hands-on
Origen: GSM Arena Inglés EN→ES Archive.org version
The V20 offers Steady Record 2.0 system for its video capturing in addition to the optical stabilization - the phone is the first to offer Qualcomm's proprietary (EIS) video stabilization based on gyroscopes. And it also offers image stream analysis (DIS) for tracking a moving object and stabilizing the video by the object's line of movement. It is also capable of minimizing the objects' distortion, which is a problem with the wide angle snappers.

Comentario

Qualcomm Adreno 530:
