Contra
Acer continúa a la perfección su exitosa línea multimedia (o de juego) que debutó a finales de 2014 con su Aspire VN7-572G. Las virtudes de la primera generación (Haswell, Broadwell) se mantienen - excepto por la duración de la batería. El chasis de plástico Soft Touch y los cuatro altavoces siguen ahí al igual que el teclado retroiluminado adecuado hasta para los escritores prolíficos. USB Type C es nuevo, pero sólo logra velocidades 3.0 a falta de un controlador 3.1 en la parte de Skylake. Acer naturalmente mantiene la buenísima pantalla IPS antirreflejos, que vuelve a tener buenísimas cualidades.
El rendimiento del SoC Skylake es ligeramente superior al del Broadwell, pero muy inferior al de los modelos Haswell/Skylake de 45w. La decisión entre la Black Edition con un i7-6700HQ o el Nitro estándar con 6500U de 15w no es tanto una cuestión de rendimiento de sistema. Eso está más o menos a la par. Las primeras aplicaciones especializadas que necesitan múltiples hilos/núcleos de procesado, tales como algunos juegos, irán notablemente más rápidos en la Black Edition.
El Aspire V 15 Nitro es un paquete bien montado de gran rendimiento técnico y buena construcción. Los defectos son desdeñables.
