El Aspire VN7-793G-5811 es un modelo básico de 17.3" relativamente asequible de la serie Acer Nitro. Si bien el precio de 1100 Euros no te da una CPU Core i7, sí trae una Core i5-7300HQ, que difiere de su hermana i7 principalmente en su velocidad y capacidad Hyperthreading. No obstante, el procesador es potente de sobras para la mayoría de escenarios de uso comunes incluyendo juegos modernos.
La combinación de un procesador quad-core Core i5 y una GPU GTX 1050 Ti asegura una experiencia de juego fluida.
En el uso diario, el portátil es silencioso y apenas se calienta. Su HDD de 1 TB ofrece mucho almacenamiento. El usuario puede cambiar el disco duro, pero hay que abrir la carcasa ya que el portátil no tiene escotillas de mantenimiento. Y dado que tienes que abrir la carcasa de todos modos, igual quieres aprovechar para poner un SSD en la ranura m.2 libre.
El panel mate IPS ofrece ángulos de visión geniales y una precisión de color decente. Dado el elevado precio del portátil, el brillo y el contraste no son nada del otro jueves.
Nuestro modelo de pruebas no incluye un sistema operativo. Requiere Windows 10 dado que Intel ya no soporta Windows 7/8.1 en su generación Kaby Lake. Además, Microsoft ha avisado que no actualicen a Kaby Lake los sistemas que vayan en Windows 7/8.1. Sin embargo, la forma más barata de conseguir una licencia Windows 10 es a través de una licencia Windows 7/8.1 usada y actualizar gratis a Windows 10.
