Contra
El Zenbook trae un procesador Core i7 con potencia de cálculo más que suficientes para el uso diario. Asus instala un procesador ULV dual-core en vez de un quad-core. Tiene un efecto positivo en la ergonomía y el aguante de la batería. Sin embargo, el Zenbook queda ligeraemente por detrás en frame rates frente a otros portátiles GTX 960M en los juegos. No obstante, casi todos los juegos actuales se pueden jugar en el Zenbook. El portátil va silencioso al menos en inactivo y apenas se calienta durante la carga. Un veloz SSD asegura un sistema rápido. El HDD 2.5" adicional ofrece la capacidad de almacenamiento necesaria. El panel IPS mate del Zenbook agrada con un buen brillo, buen contraste, y ángulo de visión estable. El paquete completo queda rematado con un aguante de batería decente.
Con el Zenbook UX510UW, Asus tiene en su línea un todoterreno exitoso con cualidades gaming que hasta permite el uso móvil gracias a un buen aguante de batería.
Sin embargo, el Zenbook no queda libre de crítica. El teclado podría tener una resistencia más nítida y un punto de presión más claro. La unidad base debería ser más rígida. Se puede esperar esto a la vista del precio del portátil. Además, no hay puerto Ethernet - una decisión poco habitual.
