Contra
El GL62M quiere ser un dispositivo gaming básico barato. Correspondientemente, es capaz de jugar en alta resolución y ajustes de alta calidad en su display mate Full HD. La Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 lo hace posible. Trae un rendimiento bastante mayor al de su predecesor. Sin embargo, el portátil no sólo rinde bien en juegos, sino también en todos los otros campos de aplicación. Su potente procesador Kaby Lake se encarga de esto. A pesar del potente hardware, el ordenador no se calienta demasiado sin importar la carga.
MSI debería mejorar el control automático del ventilador con una actualización de BIOS. El ventilador de la CPU siempre está en marcha cuando el sistema está inactivo y genera un ruido pulsante. Los usuarios tienen que arreglar esto por sí mismos - esto no debería suceder.
El teclado está bien y es adecuado para el uso doméstico. Sin embargo, le falta iluminación. Gracias a un HDD de 2.5" de 1 TB, hay bastante espacio de almacenamiento. Se puede cambiar el HDD tras sacar la parte inferior del ordenador. En esta ocasión, puedes añadir un SSD M.2. La ranura existente soporta modelos SATA-3 y PCIe/NVMe.
El display del GL62M es decepcionante.
MSI ha incorporado un modelo TN oscuro de poco contraste con escaso ángulo de visión. Esperamos un panel IPS brillante y de rico contraste con un precio de más de 1000 Euros. El aguante de batería tampoco convence.
En general, MSI ha hecho demasiados recortes para situar el ordenador en el segmento básico. Varios competidores ofrecen modelos más equilibrados, por ejemplo el HP Omen 15-ax206ng. Usa la misma combinación CPU GPU que el GL62M, pero trae además un display IPS, un teclado iluminado, y una combinación SSD HDD. Tiene un precio similar al del MSI.
