Verdict
El fabricante de Munich ofrece una mejora cuidadosa a su serie de GS. Básicamente, el GS170 técnicamente es una versión ligeramente mejorada de su predecesor, ya que visualmente los dispositivos parecen sólo mínimamente diferentes, si es que lo son.
El nuevo dispositivo básico de Gigaset sigue sumando puntos con una batería extraíble y la función de dual-SIM, sin perder la capacidad de alamcenamiento que ofrece disponer de una tarjeta SD. Además, el GS170 tiene un módulo GPS muy preciso.
Esto se contrasta con algunos motivos de queja: El rendimiento del sistema podría mejorar, el SoC es débil, y el almacenamiento interno eMMC, así como la ranura para tarjetas SD son relativamente lentos. Además, el calibrado de la pantalla es demasiado frío y la calidad del altavoz es, como mucho, apropiada para el rango de precios.
El Gigaset GS170 es un buen avance de su predecesor, incluso si algunas de nuestras quejas siguen siendo válidas. Que si el paquete completo justifica o no el precio de casi 150 euros es al menos dudoso.
