Contra
Tras el análisis del nuevo Xperia X Compact, nos decepciona un poco que ya no haya más teléfonos Android compactos de gama alta. Si quieres los componentes más rápidos, tendrás que tener un dispositivo más grande o ir a Apple.
Sin embargo, una vez lo has aceptado, verás que el nuevo Sony es un smartphone mainstream muy sólido, y el precio también se ha reducido respecto al anterior Xperia Z5 Compact. Sí, el rendimiento es inferior en algunas situaciones, pero difícilmente te darás cuenta, y el rendimiento gaming en particular se beneficia de la resolución relativamente baja del display. Un defecto es la falta de certificación IP, y las sensibles y lustrosas superficies de plástico tampoco serán del gusto de todos. Sí nos gusta el gran aguante de la batería.
Ya no es de gama alta: El Sony Xperia X Compact ahora es un dispositivo mainstream. No obstante, el compacto smartphone no revela ningún problema serio y el rendimiento también es más que suficiente en la práctica, pero la competencia es muy fuerte en este nivel de precios.
A 449 Euros (PVP actual ~410 Euros), el Xperia X Compact se enfrenta a fuertes rivales tales como el mini insignia Honor 8 y el OnePlus 3. Sendos dispositivos son más rápidos y tienen pantallas más grandes; por lo demás las diferencias son bastante pequeñas. El predecesor Xperia Z5 Compact también está disponible: soporta grabación de vídeo 4K y la carcasa aguanta más gracias al certificado IP. Si estás buscando un sistema aún más compacto con componentes más rápidos, estás limitado a Apple (iPhone SE) por ahora.
