El top model del Surface Book con Performance Base ofrece más espacio de almacenamiento y el doble de RAM que el modelo base. El rendimiento del SSD está a la par con el modelo base de 256 GB de Toshiba,por lo que no hay ganancias en este aspecto. Sin embargo, sí se nota la diferencia con 16 GB de RAM en dos de los tres tests de PCMark 8. Con todo, la diferencia de precio de $1100 más no queda justificada. Sólo deberías comprarte esta configuración de gama alta si necesitas de verdad 1 TB de almacenamiento.
