En el exterior, el Aorus A7 X7 v7 parece muy similar a su predecesor. Las actualizaciones y mejoras se han realizado principalmente en el interior. Por ejemplo, el lector de tarjetas SD actualizado y ahora mucho más rápido, la disposición de puertos, el nuevo puerto Thunderbolt 3.0 o el puerto USB Tipo A adicional. Además, el nuevo modelo también cuenta con una ranura M.2-2280 más y ahora puede tomar hasta dos SSD NVMe al mismo tiempo.
El Aorus X7 v7 es un portatil gaming bien hecho que viene con su propio set de inconvenientes únicos a pesar de su alto precio.
La 7 ª versión del Aorus cuenta con un Core i7-7820HK quad-core de 7 ª generación, lo que resulta en un menor rendimiento en comparación con su predecesor. Sin embargo, la combinación de quad-core Kaby Lake y GeForce GTX 1070 es lo suficientemente potente como para ejecutar todos los juegos actuales sin problemas, en muchos casos incluso en la resolución QHD nativa del display. Gracias a Nvidia G-Sync, las velocidades de fotogramas se sincronizan con el panel de 120 Hz del portátil.
El SSD NVMe garantiza un sistema fluido como la seda, y el disco duro de 1TB de 2,5" ofrece mucho espacio de almacenamiento. Ambas unidades pueden cambiarse y actualizarse fácilmente, sin embargo, debe quitarse la cubierta inferior completa debido a la falta de escotillas de mantenimiento.
En particular,nos gustó el alto brillo del display mate QHD, pero fue decepcionante en otros aspectos, como su bajo contraste, ángulos de visión pobres, y una cobertura de espacio de color relativamente baja. En este rango de precios, esperamos más. Por lo menos el deseo de grandes ángulos de visión se puede cumplir con la configuración 4Kdel X7 v7.
