Las pruebas de rendimiento del Core i5-1235U frente al Core i7-1165G7 muestran niveles similares de rendimiento de la CPU pero gráficos más lentos
Los portátiles con CPUs Alder Lake han ido saturando poco a poco las estanterías de las tiendas. Tras analizar recientemente el Lenovo Yoga 9 14 con el Core i7-1260P y el Dell Inspiron 14 7420 con el Core i7-1255Unos encontramos ahora en plena revisión del Gateway Ultra Slim 14.1 con el Core i5-1235U. A diferencia de los modelos de Lenovo y Dell, sin embargo, el modelo de Gateway es significativamente más barato a poco menos de $600 USD para ser mucho más asequible que la mayoría de los otros portátiles que también funcionan con CPUs Core de 12ª generación. Nuestras comparaciones de benchmarks muestran lo bien que el Core i5-1235U puede enfrentarse a las CPUs de 11ª generación y Zen 3 más antiguas del mercado.
Por desgracia, los usuarios que esperen ver un aumento de rendimiento apreciable respecto al antiguo Core i7-1165G7 o incluso al Core i5-1135G7 no tienen suerte. Si lo comparamos con la media de los i7-1165G7 o i5-1135G7 de nuestra base de datos, el i5-1235U sólo se encuentra a unos pocos puntos porcentuales de distancia entre ellos en términos de rendimiento multihilo y monohilo. La diferencia es un poco más amplia cuando se compara el i5-1135G7 con el i5-1135U en las pruebas de un solo hilo, pero sigue siendo relativamente pequeña.
En cuanto al rendimiento gráfico, el i5-1235U utiliza los mismos módulos integrados Iris Xe 80 EUs Integrada que se encuentra en el i5-1135G7, por lo que, una vez más, no hay grandes diferencias de rendimiento entre ambos.
