Caso

Toda la carcasa es de aluminio anodizado de arriba a abajo y tiene la certificación IP50 de protección contra el polvo, pero no contra el agua. Conectividad

Mantenimiento

El panel inferior es fácilmente desmontable con un destornillador Philips para revelar la parte inferior de la placa base. El acceso al resto de la placa base, sin embargo, requiere un desmontaje adicional.

La unidad SSD Wycom de 500 GB con controlador Silicon Motion SM2262EN ofrece tasas de transferencia más rápidas que SATA III, pero sigue estando muy por debajo de la mayoría de las unidades SSD NVMe. Las velocidades de lectura y escritura secuencial alcanzan un máximo de 800 a 900 MB/s, mientras que la mayoría de las unidades NVMe son al menos dos veces más rápidas.

Cuando se ejecuta Prime95 para estresar la CPU, las velocidades de reloj aumentan hasta 2,9 GHz durante unos segundos antes de caer ligeramente y estabilizarse en 2,8 GHz. El rendimiento por vatio es ligeramente inferior al de los mini PC que funcionan con la última plataforma Intel de 11ª generación. El ralentí en el ordenador de sobremesa, por ejemplo, consume entre 11 y 13 W, frente a la mitad en el Intel NUC11PAQi7. Las cargas más altas, como los juegos, consumen entre 36 W y 39 W, frente a los 31 W y 39 W del mencionado NUC, aunque el rendimiento de la GPU en nuestro PC AMD es notablemente más lento.

Prime95 muestra que la refrigeración pasiva del chasis no es suficiente para soportar plenamente las tasas de reloj Turbo de la CPU durante períodos prolongados. Las frecuencias de reloj pueden comenzar tan altas como 2,9 GHz antes de caer inevitablemente a 1,8 GHz cuando la temperatura del núcleo alcanza inevitablemente los 100 C. Parece que incluso un enorme disipador de calor de aluminio no es capaz de hacer funcionar la CPU ULV al máximo rendimiento indefinidamente.
