Contra
El modelo de gama media LG X Cam puntúa en nuestro test con un panel Full HD IPS de alto contraste y su buen manejo. Está bien construido, pero sólo ofrece una carcasa de plástico de tacto barato para este nivel de precios - la competencia de gama media hecha de vidrio (OnePlus X) o metales (ZTE Blade V7) dan una impresión de mucha más calidad.
Comparado con la competencia, el LG X Cam ofrece demasiado poco para su precio actual de unos 280 Euros. Sin embargo, podría ser una alternativa interesante para algunos compradores cuando el mercado se desarrolle correspondientemente (reducción de precio) - pero no realmente a nuestro parecer con este precio actual.
El punto fuerte del dispositivo y la característica que le da nombre es su doble cámara trasera, compuesta por un módulo estándar (75°) y un gran angular de 120°. La calidad de la fotografía de sendas cámaras es buena, pero claramente inferior a la del LG G5 (que también trae una doble cámara) - a un PVR de 300 Euros, LG ciertamente podría haber instalado una lente igual a la de su dispositivo insignia siendo como es el único gancho comercial de su smartphone de gama media.
También hay que hacer sacrificios en el rendimiento del procesador. El SoC MediaTek del LG X Cam no puede competir con el rendimiento de otros smartphones de gama media - lo mismo pasa con la velocidad de la memoria flash eMMC de 16 GB. Lo que es más, la calidad de sonido del altavoz instalado en el LG X Cam no es particularmente convincente.
