El Asus GL553VD es un principe entre los mendigos. Mientras que su tarjeta gráfica está orientada al consumidor preocupado por el precio, su precio no lo está. Encontramos el mismo hardware en el MSI GL62M por 100 o 150 euros menos. Este precio es aún menor si los usuarios aceptan cambiar el Core i7-770HQ por un Core i5-7300HQ más modesto. Por otra parte, los usuarios encuentran en el Dell Inspiron 15 7000 la más potente GTX 1050 Ti al mismo precio o el Acer Aspire VX5 por 50 euros menos.
¿Que obtienes a cambio de pagar más? El Asus GL553 incluye un teclado increible con iluminación RGB, buen diseño para disipar el calor y una gran pantalla UPS. La calidad de construcción es de primera clase; el portátil aparenta y se siente fantástico. Pero los usuarios tienen que decidir estas características merecen la pena los 100-200 euros adicionales.
Para jugones que busquen jugar a tope de detalle en resolución HD, la elección nunca ha estado más complicada. El Asus GL553 proporciona una solida experiencia con juegos en un paquete bonito y bien construido. Los usuarios que quieran una pantalla, teclado y un acabado de calidad quedarán satisfechos con el Asus GL553. El HP Omen 15 sigue siendo una buena opción; a pesar del hardware de la generación anterior, el rendimiento es parecido. Los clientes potenciales pueden mirar el mercado de segunda mano para obtener grandes descuentos. El Dell Inspiron 15 7000 tiene mejor GPU y disco SSD por un precio similar y habría que tenerlo en cuenta. Y por apenas unos pocos cientos de euros más se puede acceder a dispositivos con la Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060, que ofrece un rendimiento fantástico con juegos con resoluciones FullHD o superiores.
