Al contrario que nos ocurrió con su predecesor, hemos descubierto algunos pequeños fallos de fabricación en el nuevo Ideapad 710S Plus de Lenovo. Sin embargo lo único que tiene importancia es el touchpad, que no es totalmente liso. La estupenda pantalla habría sido aún mejor con una superficie mate y una mayor cobertura de color. Incluso a pesar de que en el mundo de los subportátiles está bien vista la ausencia de muchas interfaces no habría estado mal un puerto de salida de video dedicado, como HDMI o un DP. La duración de batería no es la adecuada para definirlo como un dispositivo para movilidad. El único inconveniente que podría poner en peligro la recomendación de compra es el molesto ruido ocasional del ventilador, aunque hay que tener en cuenta que no debería suponer problema la mayor parte del tiempo y de que podría tratarse de un fallo puntual de nuestro modelo de prueba.
Movilidad y versatilidad son las propiedades más importantes del muy convincente Lenovo Ideapad 710S Plus. Sin embargo los potenciales compradores deberían tener en cuenta el problema con el ventilador.
Por supuesto, la ligera y rígida carcasa debe ser mencionada como punto a favor. Los dispositivos de entrada son adecuados para la mayoría de los usuarios. TPM y el lector de huellas son adecuados para usuarios preocupados por la seguridad y la ligera reducción de velocidad de la GeForce 940MS con memoria GDDR5 resultará adecuada para los jugadores casuales. En contraste con su predecesor, no se usa PWM, el SSD es muy rápido y no se pueden poner peros al rendimiento WiFi. En resumen, no quiero negarle al nuevo 710S la recomendación de compra pero si recomendaríamos que lo oigas en funcionamiento. Los usuarios que no quieran jugar posiblemente harían mejor en comprar la versión más barata equipada con un i5-7200U.
