Como la rama más pequeña de las actuales tarjetas gráficas Ampere, hemos probado en detalle la GeForce RTX 3060 Twin X2 de INNO3D. Siendo la tarjeta gráfica RTX 3000 más barata, la GeForce RTX 3060 sigue cotizando muy por encima del precio de venta al público mucho después de su lanzamiento oficial. Descubre qué puede hacer la tarjeta gráfica y cómo se comporta el modelo frente a la competencia actual de AMD en este análisis.

Con las actuales tarjetas gráficas RTX 3000, Nvidia ha sido capaz de aumentar el rendimiento aún más en comparación con la serie RTX 2000. Ahora también pudimos convencernos del rendimiento de la GeForce RTX 3060. Para este análisis, hemos utilizado una INNO3D GeForce RTX 3060 Twin X2 con el nuevo chip LHR. Esta adición indica que se trata de una tarjeta gráfica que fue ralentizada específicamente para la minería con el algoritmo ethash con el fin de que la tarjeta gráfica no sea atractiva para la llamada minería de criptomonedas. Desgraciadamente, este enfoque no ha tenido efecto en cuanto al precio, ya que los modelos siguen cotizando muy por encima del PVP (329 euros/~380 dólares). La INNO3D GeForce RTX 3060 Twin X2 cuesta más del doble, con algo menos de 690 euros (~798 dólares). Sin embargo, esto ya convierte a este modelo en uno de los más baratos que hay actualmente.

El chip gráfico GA106 ofrece 3.854 unidades de sombreado y puede acceder a 12 GB de VRAM GDDR6. Así, el modelo más pequeño obtiene la segunda mayor VRAM de la serie RTX-3000. Debido a la interfaz de memoria, Nvidia sólo podía elegir entre 6 GB o 12 GB. Para no vender otra memoria lisiada como tarjeta gráfica de entrada, el fabricante tomó la decisión correcta en nuestra opinión. En las numerosas pruebas de juego, pudimos determinar muy a menudo una utilización de la VRAM de más de 6 GB. El consumo de energía del modelo INNO3D (170 vatios) está exactamente en el nivel que Nvidia especifica para el diseño de referencia. Esto también se aplica a las velocidades de reloj del chip gráfico y la VRAM.

No hay grandes sorpresas en las dimensiones. Con una longitud de 24 centímetros, la INNO3D GeForce RTX 3060 Twin X2 es una tarjeta gráfica convencional de 2 ranuras. Además, la INNO3D GeForce RTX 3060 Twin X2 requiere un conector de alimentación de 8 pines. Externamente, pueden funcionar hasta cuatro monitores simultáneamente. Para ello, hay un HDMI con el último estándar (2.1) y tres puertos DisplayPort (1.4a).

Nuestro sistema de prueba con AMD Ryzen 9 5900X como base

Una plataforma AMD actual basada en el Asus X570 ROG Crosshair VIII Hero WiFi sirve como sistema de prueba. La CPU (AMD Ryzen 9 5900X) ofrece un buen rendimiento de la CPU y utilizamos un AiO (G.Skill ENKI 360) como refrigeración. La memoria de trabajo de 32 GB viene de G.Skill y también se nos proporcionó como el AiO. Como monitor utilizamos el Acer Predator XB321HK, que no nos limita debido a su capacidad UHD. Como se mencionó al principio, las velocidades de reloj de la INNO3D GeForce RTX 3060 Twin X2 están a la par con la Founders Edition de Nvidia. Lo mismo se aplica al límite de potencia, que es de 170 vatios para toda la tarjeta gráfica. Además, el objetivo de potencia no puede aumentarse más en nuestra muestra de prueba. Por tanto, se mantiene en el máximo de 170 vatios, lo que también limita un poco el potencial de overclocking.

La primera impresión del rendimiento del INNO3D GeForce RTX 3060 Twin X2 es desilusionante. Nuestra muestra de prueba apenas puede seguir el ritmo de una GeForce RTX 2060 Super en las pruebas 3DMark. AMD puede obtener una ventaja de hasta el 29% con la Radeon RX 6600 XT. Sin embargo, esta diferencia podría reducirse considerablemente en las demás pruebas.

Nuestra INNO3D GeForce RTX 3060 Twin X2 obtiene una cifra comparativamente mejor en nuestras pruebas de juegos. Sin embargo, sigue estando por detrás de la Radeon RX 6600 XT de AMD. La mayor VRAM se nota positivamente en juegos muy intensivos en memoria, como Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War. Aquí, nuestra muestra de prueba en 1080p con los máximos detalles puede diferenciarse en un 7%. En resoluciones aún más altas (2160p), la ventaja puede incluso aumentar hasta un 15% en comparación con la AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT. Sin embargo, hay que mencionar que los 36,6 FPS de media no son una buena experiencia de juego. Más bien, la GeForce RTX 3060 está dirigida a los jugadores que juegan principalmente a 1080p o 1440p. Sin embargo, esto último no siempre es fluido incluso con la RTX 3060 dependiendo del juego. Unos pocos juegos se deslizaron por debajo de los 40 FPS en la prueba QHD.

Los que juegan principalmente a 1080p o 1440p seguirán estando contentos con el rendimiento de la INNO3D GeForce RTX 3060 Twin X2.

Los 12 GB de VRAM son buenos y hacen que esta tarjeta esté más preparada para el futuro que otros modelos comparables. Como siempre, utilizamos el juego The Witcher 3 (1080p Ultra Preset) para los tiempos de fotogramas y la progresión de los mismos. Aparte de un valor atípico, no hay latencias significativas que afecten a la jugabilidad al registrar los datos. La velocidad de fotogramas comienza con más de 85 FPS y baja a 83,8 FPS en el transcurso de la prueba. Se trata de una pérdida de rendimiento mínima e insignificante.

En ComputeMark, nuestra GeForce RTX 3060 puede enfrentarse a menudo a la AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT. Sin embargo, el resultado es muy diferente en la prueba LuxMark. En las pruebas de renderizado, las tarjetas gráficas normales de sobremesa están en clara desventaja frente a las soluciones gráficas profesionales, como los modelos Quadro o Fire Pro. Las emisiones de la INNO3D GeForce RTX 3060 Twin X2 son aceptables, aunque el requerimiento de energía es mayor en comparación con la ligeramente más rápidaAMD Radeon RX 6600 XT. Con 302 vatios en la prueba de estrés (FurMark) y 307 vatios en juegos, la fuente de alimentación tiene que proporcionar casi 20 vatios más en el sistema de prueba idéntico. La GeForce RTX 2060 Super fue un poco más frugal. No obstante, se utilizó una unidad base diferente basada en un AMD Ryzen 7 2700X. No hay sorpresas desagradables en términos de temperaturas. El chip gráfico alcanza un máximo de 74.5 °C con un TGP máximo de 170 vatios en el test de estrés. Esto también se cumple rigurosamente.

No notamos ninguna emisión de ruidos molestos del silbido de la bobina de la INNO3D GeForce RTX 3060 Twin X2. No podemos afirmar con seguridad si esto se aplica también a otros modelos del fabricante o si simplemente tuvimos suerte. La tarjeta gráfica tiene un modo de parada del ventilador, por lo que no oímos nada de la tarjeta gráfica en reposo. Pero incluso bajo carga, los dos ventiladores no hacen tanto ruido. La tarjeta gráfica no era audible desde la caja cerrada. Los ventiladores de la caja instalada eran más ruidosos en todo momento.

Con la INNO3D GeForce RTX 3060 Twin X2, tuvimos un representante económico de los modelos actuales de GeForce RTX 3060 en nuestra revisión. Esto nos lleva al tema, porque los precios actuales de todas las tarjetas gráficas son significativamente más altos que el PVP. El precio de lista es de 329 euros (~380 dólares) para la GeForce RTX 3060. Actualmente, hay que pagar al menos 690 euros (~798 dólares) por un modelo RTX 3060, dependiendo del fabricante y la configuración. Por desgracia, la situación no parece diferente para AMD.

No obstante, la comparación de los dos rivales merece la pena, porque la AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT está disponible actualmente por tan sólo 600 euros (~694 dólares). La tarjeta gráfica es más rápida en muchas áreas, aunque tenga que prescindir de 4 GB de VRAM. Sin embargo, los que quieran seguir siendo fieles a Nvidia o vean una ganga barata también pueden ir con confianza a por una GeForce RTX 3060. Las diferencias de rendimiento son pequeñas y no se notan. Si necesitas mucho más rendimiento, deberías buscar una GeForce RTX 3070 o GeForce RTX 3080. Pero incluso aquí, el precio es un poco más alto.

La INNO3D GeForce RTX 3060 Twin X2 nos ha convencido por su diseño sencillo y compacto, que prescinde completamente del RGB. El rendimiento es suficiente para todos los juegos actuales, si se quiere jugar principalmente en Full HD. Sin embargo, el acelerador de píxeles también domina muchos juegos en resolución QHD con los máximos detalles. La GeForce RTX 3060 se queda cada vez más corta con resoluciones más altas, aunque la VRAM de 12 GB sería suficiente.

El mayor punto de crítica es el precio de venta actual, que es sencillamente demasiado caro en este momento.
