El Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 15 es un portátil asequible para el día a día que ofrece a los usuarios un buen paquete completo. Su carcasa de alta calidad y la larga duración de la batería resultaron especialmente impresionantes durante nuestra prueba. Con una autonomía de más de 14 horas en nuestra prueba WLAN, el IdeaPad se diferenció claramente de sus competidores y su pantalla IPS mate ofrece colores precisos así como una cobertura sRGB completa, lo que hace que la edición de imágenes no sea ningún problema. Su brillo de 300 nits es suficiente para su uso en interiores, pero habrá algunas limitaciones en exteriores.

El rendimiento del procesador Ryzen 7 y de la GPU Radeon 680M es perfectamente correcto y 16 GB de RAM deberían bastar para la mayoría de las tareas cotidianas. Por desgracia, la RAM del dispositivo no se puede ampliar, pero puede instalar dos SSD M.2 2280.

Además de la RAM soldada, el ventilador de frecuencia algo elevada es uno de los puntos débiles del IdeaPad. También hay que tener en cuenta que no viene preinstalado ningún sistema operativo, lo que en muchos casos supondrá un coste adicional. Estuche y conectividad

Nuestro primer contacto con el IdeaPad Slim 5 15 nos dejó gratamente sorprendidos, ya que el diseño del dispositivo plano nos recuerda un poco al del Apple MacBook Air 15. A pesar de su bajo precio, utiliza aluminio (tapa y placa base), pero el reposamanos es de plástico. Sus superficies de color plateado no son especialmente susceptibles a las huellas dactilares y su diseño general parece de gran calidad. No observamos ningún problema con su estabilidad o calidad de construcción, salvo que las bisagras no pueden evitar del todo que la pantalla se balancee ligeramente. Por otro lado, la tapa puede abrirse fácilmente con una mano y su ángulo máximo de apertura es de unos 170 grados.

Con un peso de poco más de 1,5 kg y un grosor de 15,6 mm, el IdeaPad es fácil de transportar. La cubierta inferior se puede retirar fácilmente y hay dos ranuras para SSD M.2 2280 junto al módulo WLAN, por lo que puede ampliar fácilmente su capacidad de almacenamiento. La memoria RAM (LPDDR5x-6400) está soldada y no se puede ampliar.

Sus opciones de conectividad incluyen todos los puertos más importantes para el uso diario, pero tendrá que prescindir del USB 4.0. El lector de tarjetas microSD del portátil (sin mecanismo de resorte, las tarjetas sobresalen 0,5 cm) alcanza velocidades de transferencia decentes, pero su módulo WLAN (Wi-Fi 6 a 80 MHz) está limitado a alrededor de 1 Gbit/s. La cámara web de 1080p cumple su cometido y también cuenta con una tapa y un módulo IR para el reconocimiento facial; los efectos Studio de Microsoft no son compatibles.

Sostenibilidad

Lenovo no ha facilitado información sobre la huella deCO2 producida durante la producción del portátil, pero se compensan 0,5 toneladas deCO2. El dispositivo también cumple varias certificaciones medioambientales (Energy Star 8.0, EPEAT Gold). El embalaje está fabricado íntegramente con materiales reciclables y para el propio portátil se utiliza un 50% de aluminio reciclado. Lenovo ha proporcionado un manual de mantenimiento/reparación.

Dispositivos de entrada - Teclado retroiluminado

El IdeaPad Slim 5 15 está equipado con un teclado retroiluminado que puede activarse automáticamente en condiciones de iluminación oscura. El teclado gris claro con letras blancas es muy fácil de ver y su disposición es clara. El recorrido de las teclas es de 1,3 mm y, en general, la sensación al escribir es buena, pero los teclados de portátiles Lenovo más caros son mejores. El ClickPad (13 x 8,5 cm) es agradable y suave de manejar, pero los clics mecánicos de la zona inferior son ruidosos y dan la sensación de ser un poco baratos.

Nuestro dispositivo de pruebas tiene un panel IPS mate con una resolución de 1.920 x 1.200 píxeles (16:10) y una frecuencia de actualización de 60 Hz. Por supuesto, su calidad de imagen subjetiva no puede seguir el ritmo de los paneles OLED y las pantallas con una frecuencia más alta muestran movimientos más suaves, pero la imagen del portátil sigue siendo decente e incluso las superficies brillantes sólo aparecen mínimamente granuladas (lo que sólo es visible a una distancia muy cercana). No utiliza PWM y sus tiempos de respuesta están bien, aunque puede apreciarse un ligero sangrado de la retroiluminación en los bordes de los contenidos oscuros. La estabilidad de su ángulo de visión es buena.

Se afirma que su brillo es de 300 nits y nuestro dispositivo de pruebas lo alcanzó en todos los puntos de medición. Su relación de contraste se beneficia de su bajo nivel de negro, y el brillo de la pantalla es suficiente para su uso en interiores en combinación con la superficie mate. En exteriores, en cambio, las cosas pueden ponerse un poco problemáticas. Analizamos el panel utilizando el software profesional CalMAN y el perfil de fábrica mostraba un ligero tinte de color (verde/azul), pero las desviaciones de color eran pequeñas. Nuestro perfil calibrado (disponible para su descarga gratuita en el recuadro de la derecha) mejora la pantalla, pero también reduce su brillo máximo en unos 25 cd/m². Junto con su cobertura sRGB completa, el panel también es adecuado para editar imágenes/vídeos.

Condiciones de prueba

El IdeaPad ofrece varios perfiles de energía entre los que se puede cambiar mediante la aplicación Vantage o la combinación de teclas Fn+Q. Realizamos los siguientes benchmarks y mediciones utilizando el modo de energía adaptable(Auto).

Procesador

El AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS cuenta con 8 núcleos (Zen3+) con 16 hilos y una velocidad de reloj máxima de 4,75 GHz. Por supuesto, el procesador ya no es nuevo, pero su rendimiento multinúcleo en particular sigue siendo bueno, situándose por delante de los dispositivos de la comparación. Rendimiento del sistema

Dispositivo de almacenamiento

En nuestro dispositivo de prueba hay instalada una unidad SSD PCIe 4.0 de 512 GB de Western Digital, que consiguió muy buenas tasas de transferencia durante nuestra prueba y ofrece un rendimiento constante incluso bajo carga prolongada. Se trata de una SSD M.2-2242, pero hay dos ranuras M.2-2280 disponibles (ambas PCIe 4.0 x4), por lo que la capacidad de almacenamiento del portátil puede ampliarse de forma muy sencilla y rentable si es necesario. El ventilador es un poco agudo
El ventilador es un poco agudo

El único ventilador del portátil hace frente bien a los límites de potencia del procesador Ryzen y, en general, es un dispositivo muy silencioso durante el uso diario. Medimos entre 33-40 dB(A) cuando el SoC se sometió a un poco más de tensión, lo que es aceptable. Sin embargo, el ruido del ventilador es bastante agudo, lo que lo hace un poco más molesto de lo que los valores puros sugerirían. Una solución con dos ventiladores habría sido la mejor opción a este respecto. No obstante, puede limitar las emisiones de ruido a unos 30 dB(A) utilizando el modo de ahorro de batería, incluso con una carga elevada. Ningún otro ruido electrónico provenía de nuestro dispositivo de prueba.

Temperatura

Las temperaturas de la carcasa no son un problema en absoluto incluso a plena carga, y las temperaturas de la superficie siempre se mantienen agradables. Altavoces

Los dos altavoces estéreo (2x 2 vatios) alcanzan un volumen suficiente, pero no hay muchos graves. Esto hace que la música o los vídeos en particular suenen bastante pobres, pero no notamos problemas con la reproducción de voz (por ejemplo, en conferencias). Dentro de nuestro grupo de comparación y teniendo en cuenta el precio del portátil, sus resultados siguen estando bien y sin duda hay sistemas de sonido bastante peores en el mercado.

Las mediciones de consumo del portátil están bien.
