La pantalla OLED ofrece los mismos datos clave que su hermana de pantalla LED: Una resolución de 2560 x 1440 píxeles (QHD) a una frecuencia de actualización de 240 Hz y 15,6 pulgadas de diámetro.

Típico de los OLED, el panel gana puntos por sus maravillosos niveles de negro y sus rápidos tiempos de respuesta. Además, esto va acompañado de un brillo máximo relativamente alto. Esto es algo a lo que su homólogo LED no puede hacer frente.

Los puntos débiles del panel OLED: Tiene una superficie brillante y parpadea con un ajuste de brillo de ≤ 70 por ciento a una frecuencia de 500 Hz. El parpadeo inducido técnicamente está relacionado con la regulación del brillo del panel. En este sentido, su hermano panel LED mate y sin parpadeos de su hermano tiene las de perder.

Ya desde el primer momento, la pantalla ofrece una reproducción del color impresionante: Con una desviación de 1,9, se cumple claramente el objetivo (DeltaE < 3). La calibración no conlleva ninguna mejora. La precisión del color está dada: Los espacios de color sRGB y DCI-P3 se reproducen completamente y casi completamente con el espacio de color AdobeRGB al 94 por ciento. El panel LED del hermano también ofrece resultados igualmente buenos.

Tiempos de respuesta del display

Parpadeo de Pantalla / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

Para atenuar el brillo de pantalla algunos portátiles están encendiendo y apagando la retroiluminación muy rápidamente. Esto se hace a una frecuencia que no debiera detectarse a simple vista. Si la frecuencia es demasiado lenta, la gente sensible podría experimentar problemas visuales, dolores de cabeza e incluso ver parpadeos.
Parpadeo de Pantalla / PWM detectado 500 Hz ≤ 70 % de brillo

La retroiluminación del display parpadea a 500 Hz (seguramente usa PWM - Pulse-Width Modulation) a un brillo del 70 % e inferior. Sobre este nivel de brillo no debería darse parpadeo / PWM.

La frecuencia de 500 Hz es relativamente alta, por lo que la mayoría de gente no debería ver parpadeo o tener fatiga visual. Sin embargo, hay informes de que algunas personas pueden seguir viendo parpadeos a 500 Hz y superior, por lo que cuidado.

Comparación: 53 % de todos los dispositivos testados no usaron PWM para atenuar el display. Si se usó, medimos una media de 8743 (mínimo: 5 - máxmo: 343500) Hz.

El panel ofrece una gran estabilidad del ángulo de visión y es legible desde cualquier ángulo. Sin embargo, en exteriores es difícil debido a la superficie brillante y reflectante de la pantalla.

Condiciones de la prueba

Es posible cambiar entre los tres modos de rendimiento ("Equilibrado", "Silencioso" y "Definido por el usuario") mediante la combinación de teclas "Fn" + "P". El perfil "Definido por el usuario" permite subconfiguraciones para la CPU ("Bajo", "Medio", "Alto", "Boost") y la GPU ("Bajo", "Medio" y "Alto"), a través del software Razer Synapse preinstalado. En modo batería, solo está disponible el perfil "Equilibrado".

Las pruebas se llevaron a cabo usando el modo activo "Definido por el usuario" con los ajustes al máximo (sub-ajustes "Boost" y "Alto"). Para la prueba de batería se utilizó el perfil "Silencioso".

Procesador

ElCore i9-12900H(Alder Lake) consta de seis núcleos de rendimiento (hyperthreading, de 2,5 a 5 GHz) y ocho núcleos de eficiencia (sin hyperthreading, de 1,8 a 3,8 GHz). En total, hay 20 núcleos lógicos de CPU.

La prueba multihilo del benchmark Cinebench R15 se procesó a entre 3,6 y 3,8 GHz (núcleos P) y entre 2,8 y 2,9 GHz (núcleos E). La prueba monohilo se ejecutó a 1,4-4,5 GHz (núcleos P) y 1,5-3,5 GHz (núcleos E), respectivamente. En modo batería, las velocidades de reloj son inferiores. Así lo demuestra la prueba de bucle CB15: La carga multihilo sólo se afronta con una velocidad de reloj turbo alta durante un breve periodo de tiempo. Tras 30 o 40 segundos, los valores caen hasta aproximadamente la velocidad de reloj base.

Emisiones sonoras

En general, para un portátil de juegos, los niveles de ruido son moderados. En reposo y uso diario (oficina e internet), los ventiladores funcionan a baja velocidad y son prácticamente inaudibles. A plena carga (test de estrés, Witcher 3 test) los niveles de presión sonora pueden subir a 43.9 dB (A). El perfil de rendimiento "Silencioso" no hace lo que sugiere su nombre, pero consigue reducir el ruido de fondo - a costa de la potencia de cálculo.

La prueba de estrés (Prime95 y Furmark en funcionamiento continuo) presenta el escenario extremo de análisis de la estabilidad del sistema a plena carga. En el transcurso de la prueba, la velocidad de reloj de la CPU cayó desde un punto inicial de 2,5 GHz (núcleos P) y 2,1 GHz (núcleos E), respectivamente, hasta alrededor de 1,7 GHz (núcleos P) y 1,5 GHz (núcleos E), respectivamente. La velocidad de reloj de la GPU oscila entre 700 y 1.300 MHz.

Consumo de energía

En reposo, los requisitos de energía (hasta 39 vatios) son comparativamente altos. Este parece ser un problema general encontrado en los modelos Blade 2022 que encontramos en muchas ocasiones. Duración de la batería

En la prueba WiFi (apertura de páginas web mediante un script) y la prueba de vídeo (cortometraje Big Buck Bunny (codificación H.264, FHD) en bucle), el dispositivo de 15 pulgadas logró duraciones de batería de 4,34 horas y 5,52 horas, respectivamente. Las funciones de ahorro de energía del portátil se desactivaron durante ambas pruebas y el brillo de la pantalla se fijó en 150 cd/m². La prueba de vídeo también se realizó con el módulo de radio apagado.

En general, el Blade no fue capaz de ofrecer una duración de batería impresionante, ni siquiera para un potente portátil QHD. En general, la competencia ofrece mejor aguante - tanto en términos absolutos como en términos de vatios-hora calculados.

Las principales áreas de aplicación del Blade 15 deberían encontrarse en la edición de vídeo, el renderizado y los juegos. ElCore-i9 12900HcPU y GeForce RTX 3070 Ti portátilgPU (TGP: 110 vatios) ofrecen la potencia necesaria. Un veloz SSD PCIe-4 (1 TB) garantiza tiempos de carga cortos.

El Blade 15 OLED (principios de 2022) es una potente herramienta tanto para jugadores como para creativos.

La atención no sólo se centra en el alto rendimiento: Los resultados máximos de los núcleos de cálculo están en la media cuando se comparan con portátiles anteriormente analizados con el 12900H o el 3070 Ti. Mientras que la producción de calor es típica para un portátil de esta potencia, las emisiones de ruido son relativamente moderadas. Esto último no puede decirse del consumo de energía en uso inactivo: El Blade 15 se ayuda a sí mismo con un gran trago de la botella.

La duración real de la batería, de 4 a 6 horas, no impresiona. En este aspecto, la competencia tiene mucho más que ofrecer. No obstante, la batería se puede cargar con una fuente de alimentación universal USB-C (mín. 65W, 20V) y ambos puertos USB-C (2x Thunderbolt) soportan Power Delivery (y Displayport).

En general, el panel OLED reflectante (QHD) puntúa algo mejor que el panel LED convencional (QHD) del modelo Blade 2022 analizado anteriormente. Ambas pantallas ofrecen una buena cobertura del espacio de color (sRGB: 100 %) y una buena reproducción del color. El modelo OLED se lleva la palma en cuanto a niveles de negro, brillo y tiempos de respuesta, mientras que el modelo LED gana puntos gracias a su superficie mate.

Una posible alternativa a este dispositivo podría ser elAsus ROG Zephyrus M16 GU603Z. En cuanto al rendimiento, el procesador está a la par, pero gana puntos gracias a una pantalla más brillante en formato 16:10 y a una duración de batería considerablemente mayor. Una alternativa económica podría ser elAorus 15 XE5. A pesar de que el precio de esta máquina es unos cientos de dólares más barato, ofrece un poco más de potencia y mejor duración de la batería que el Blade.
